ZT2 pattern theory

Now this is pure rubbish but I noticed interesting, fun little pattern in DLCs that came out and maybe the future ones.

When PZ came out some people, including me couldn't help themselves but to compare it to original ZT2 rooster.

Now compared to ZT2 PZ seemed to "miss" some of the "must have animals" that ZT2 included in their original 30

Now every DLC flagship animal so far was one of the "missing ones" from the roster ( Polar Bear, Jaguar, Kangaroo, Penguin )

And with 4chan "leaking" the next pack as desert one, we can guess the flagship would be Dromedary Camel. If we ignore Sun Bear for a second we can comfortably guess next three dlcs to be leaded by rest of missing animals which would be Moose for NA pack, Ibex for EU pack and Black Rhino for AF or ES pack.

Beaver's only one sticking out after that if I calculated properly.

Again this is pure rubbish, but I just noticed it, seemed interesting

4chan leak is confirmed to be false btw.

Oh really ??
That's nice to hear, I thought desert pack was a huge waste ( he he ), but I always tried to force it into my wishlists since I took it for given.

I mean this doesn't de-confirm it but I hope it does

"Must have animals" is always a quite subjective thing. I think many people would agree that the animals you mentioned are indeed "must haves", but I could easily include the meerkat, a gibbon species, a lynx and a sea lion in that group (to name the most obvious ones).

This is not directed at you Markiz (not your case), but it's always been a bit annoying when I've read here and in more platforms something like "whenever we get an African Rhino, a meerkat and a gibbon we're done".
Comments of that sort have been more recurrent lately in some discord servers, arguing that virtually any other animal can be modded in the future. That almost sounds like a joke to me. I'm fine with people thinking this way, but I'm confident that the majority of the PZ consistent players (people who are passionate about animals/zoos) do no think this way. There is no way to get a sea lion animations right if it's not with a heavily modified rig and unique animations. Same applies to many other animals. I've seen some people claiming that the sun bear is "just another bear" and I just can't help facepalming. There are still quite a lot of animals that could be either the flagship of a future DLC or "must have" because of their unique rigs and/or animations.

Oh no, I don't share that view at all. I hope we're never done. There so much more to be included.

"Must have" context for this topic was original 30 of ZT2. I for one have whole different "must have" list for me, and it's a bit long.

Yes, and it's for the better that PZ went with more realistic choices
From what I've heard, people weren't happy with the PZ Gorilla species, not being the one typically seen in the western world.

Edit: Never mind, it was the subspecies they had a problem with.
