Hello Cmdrs o7

I have played elite for a few years, done most things, travelled galaxy abit...

PvP has eluded me however..if one wanted to dabble in PvP where would be best to park my ship?

I did search the forum but cant find much, my apolgises im not really good with forums, more a lurker.

Shinrarta or San Tu, but guess first one is going to be better.

If you don't have Discord, you should definitely get it, as that's where most regular PvP folks reside. I'm fairly new to the PC side, but I know for sure that these guys have events on Wednesdays.

PvP hub is another option

There are many more, which you'll find by meeting people through the various, interconnected communities.

If you're looking for something more organic, you can try Shinrarta Dezhra, community goals, engineer systems, or any of the current story-centric hotspots. Ask around in system chat for a fight, wait for someone to interdict you, or interdict people yourself if you so choose.

It is a player's choice to engage in PvP or not. Please respect that choice as open is a shared space.

We do still meet up, but it's been on the go now for 6 years. It's a shadow of its former self. There was one week when I was the only one who showed up. Instead of beating myself up over it, I went for a race

We meet up on Fridays. It's part of the Alliance Rapid Reaction Corps Discord, but that's more to do with being too lazy to set up my own Discord for it. There hasnae been much PVP in there lately. It's kind of evolved into an "do something silly" Friday. Folks tend to get involved in their favourite part of Elite, and forget about the rest of the game. We like to do something that we don't do very often... and seeing as it's something we dinnae normally do, don't expect any professionalism, or any other "ism"s

Get yourself a viper or vulture and go to a system with lots of activity. Expect to get blown up. Alot. Think of this stage as paying your dues and cheap learning. Believe me, everyone who does pvp started out with dozens or hundreds of rebuys. It's just part of the process. Don't feel bad about blasting everyone you see. The snowflakes will try to guilt trap you but just keep blazing your trail. Be prepared for some verbal abuse. Just stay above the toxicity and wish everyone a fine day, an 07, win, lose, tantrum or otherwise.
