cant believe people are moaning about the delay and the fact it took longer. Be patient these things do take time and might not go to plan.....

Well update downloaded on Steam....time to watch the England v Wales match before I try it out

To anyone having trouble with the Frontier client, and the "your client needs to be updated" loop -- try going into your Frontier account, search your downloadable items, and downloading the client from there. That seems to have done the trick for me, and it's updating my game right now.

Confirmed, Client Installer on frontierstore.net is file version 0.4.6779.0.

Edit: launcher works, download started. See you in a week.

@sallymorganmoore .... the launcher message says to update to the new version but the file it downloads when you click yes is the older version...

Started the game via Steam, launcher pulled an update. (Why when updates usually come via Steam?)
Started the game, jumped in a different system - Orange Sidewinder.
After quitting the game completely, Steam starts another download.

steam not rolled out yet for me. can't force update either.. it's already on high priority. don't mind so much..probably not got time to play anyway.
