Nice! Out of curiosity, do you also receive the mail and the decal whithout being combat Elite? I mean, back in the days it had to be Combat-Trade-Explo but today does Frontier give you the Triple Elite mark whatever 3 Elite ranks you reach first?

I didn't know that was something they did. I didn't receive anything so either it has to be the original three or they just don't do it any longer.

Congrats! Well done, and yes thank God fdev buffed those Exobiology payouts. It was sorely needed. Now getting to Elite 5 is much more feasible.
Now all they need to do is change Combat ranking thresholds.... been a no star elite in combat for years now!
Ah, so I guess it means they haven't changed it, and you still need to make it into the three historical ranks. When you'll get your combat-Elite rank, you'll receive an e-mail from the Pilot's Federation lauding your "amazing achievements" or something like that, and a special Triple-Elite decal. BTW, a special painting would be much cooler than a decal.
I don't do combat, so no triple elite decal for me! I agree that a paint job would be nicer. I can't recall ever noticing the decals on another ship. Paint job though, you notice that!

Exactly. Gold rushes come along now and then. Rinsing them for all they're worth before they get removed is proper independent pilot behaviour. It requires knowledge of game mechanics, paying attention to developments and being in the right place at the right time with the right ship.Milking goldrushes is one of the best gameplays this game offers
This week there are two sorts of exobiologists around here. The ones who had already learned the skills for finding space plants, noticed the remark about buffing payments two weeks ago and arranged to be handing in loads just after the patch; and the ones who didn't bother and now feel they missed out.

Finally after 10yrs 2 months of owning Elite Dangerous/Horizons/Odyssey I have finally achieved the Combat/Trade/Explorer Triple Elite crest. Playing time to do so is 14W 1D 12H 46M or approx. 2389 hrs playing this game. Combat was tough to get there and that was the final piece of the original triple. I am at Soldier in mercenary so I guess it might be time to complete that out for the 5 time Elite as I already have the Exobiology 4 times over. Just in time for colonization.
