it dosent though, there is not one point of interest on the planet even after scanned. I'm going to record it and post a link hereIf you DSS HIP 17403 A 4 a then it should show up at least as you approach. I have to admit not ever having gone there in Odyssey but it should be there.
Are those coordinates from before Odyssey? Because they won't be valid in Odysse
so it's not supposed to be a point of interest? I have to actually find it with the LAT and LON? well at a different one than what I haveAre those coordinates from before Odyssey? Because they won't be valid in Odyssey, if so.

I don't know. It may be revealed with a DSS scan like other crash sites, but I have not had reason to check.so it's not supposed to be a point of interest? I have to actually find it with the LAT and LON? well at a different one than what I have
Yes I tried that as well, someone on a FB group said it may be a bug.. Do you think that may be the case?I don't know. It may be revealed with a DSS scan like other crash sites, but I have not had reason to check.
Lat and Lon is from the dark ages of Elite, and shouldn't be necessary now.
Did you try a DSS scan?

No. What Fnord said is correct.Yes I tried that as well, someone on a FB group said it may be a bug.. Do you think that may be the case?
hahaha... yes, what a waste! Don't you think about environment?! Now you can walk from one side of the planet to the other, without touching the ground!...and for some reason I used too many probes, leastways that is my excuse.)
went back and re scanned but still nothing for me, others are having the same issue. https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/did-they-remove-crashed-ship-at-hip-17403.559364/Now that I managed to get some sleep*, here is a short video showing me "discovering" the Crashed Thargoid Ship site in Odyssey, i.e. the way to do it:

Gee, a whole bunch of folks who don't know how to use the DSS. How interesting. I hope you'll clue them in.aparently in odyssey the crash is on the other side while in horizons its on the side I was looking at. I was going to the coordinates provided by eddb and reddit which I guess hasn't been updated since horizons? Other people are also having the same issue https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/did-they-remove-crashed-ship-at-hip-17403.559364/
