Notification timeline: allow us to notifications for exhibit animals

We can't disable notifications for exhibit animals on the timeline. It only allows us to enable/disable notifications for habitat animals. This is very annoying because with bats and butterflies (and all other exhibit animals) we are constantly getting notifications of birth. In addition, with the population management system, we do not need to care about the births anymore, so we don't need these notifications.

Someone has created an issue, so please feel free to contribute: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/56381

EDIT: @HeatherG, I missed the word "disable" on the title, I meant "allow us to disable notifications". Could you please add it? Thanks!

We already have 4 contributions, but the issue is not confirmed yet, so if someone else wants to give us a hand please add your contribution. Hopefully the next update fixes this and we can rely on the notifiction list again when using butterflies and bats.

This is the main problem with the ticket system I'm afraid. I agree this defintely, absolutely, needs to be fixed, but getting enough people to 1) get the problem confirmed, and then 2) to upvote the problem so that it gets high on the priority list is virtually impossible.

P.S. I already contributed so I can't help your cause anymore I'm afraid.

Agreed! Would love to be able to manage these and turn off notifications where appropriate.

For myself, I hope they'll implement it like for habitat animals, where we can have different notifications for different species, rather than turning all exhibits on or off en masse.

I second the suggestion to have a much more customisable notification system per habitat or exhibit. The other thing I would like is to have more customisation of which notifications - particularly the 'x animal is about to mature'. Either they need to make it change when you change the animal ageing settings or they need to let me turn it off because unfortunately with slower ageing enabled we get each animal's about to mature message 40 million times before it actually does!

Sadly we still haven't enough contributions to change the status to confirmed. We already have 4, but it seems we need more.

I agree, we NEED this setting. Especially when my notifications can never keep up. I'm constantly spammed with notifications that my Butterflies have reproduced which makes the other notifications lag way behind.

I know it's not the exact same subject, but I also think that we should have the option to release exhibit species into the wild. The game only allows you to quick sell them, not to send them to the wild. I also think that the exhibit animal market should be connected online, like the habitat animal market. That'd make it much easier for players to acquire animals, as some exhibit species can be quite rare for whatever reason

I commented and voted for the issue at the ticket, hopefully it does get fixed. I have so many exhibit animal alarms, that the timeline is completely useless for me and I am no longer reacting to the alert, even if it might be an animal I am actually waiting for, just to be like "oh no i missed it" afterwards. I hope we will be able to disable exhibit notifications alltogether, but each individual species would be fine with me too (like we have for habitat).
And I agree with @DarthQuell and hope we will be able to release them into the wild. Having a player trade market for them as well would be another highlight, but I would understand if that might take too much "space" as they are breeding so fast.

It really needs fixing along with a few more editable notifications for exhibits and habitats in general. I'd like a red alert for when the final male of an exhibit dies. At the moment this can happen quite suddenly and if the females don't pop out a replacement male that breeding cycle you can have the exhibit die out easily in medium to large zoos where alot is going on or if you've butterflies and bats clogging up the notifications.

I really hope this is fixed in update 1.13! I don't want to miss the birth/death of a sloth among the thousand messages about butterflies.
