I just had the most pleasant surprise when I opened my African franchise zoo to add the new African animals. I went to check on my cheetahs (it's been a long time since I was in this zoo) and found that one of the adults was a King Cheetah. Also the offspring I had in my trading center, waiting to start the next generation was a King and one of my new offspring was also a King. I didn't expect the new colour morphs to be retroactively implemented to existing animals in my zoos, but apparantly they are. Thanks Frontier! I love my King Cheetahs and have just sold one on the market. Hopefully they spread quickly.

Possibly a bug? Because guest spawners are crazy expensive in challenge and franchise
I think it's intentional. Frontier stills thinks that Franchise should be competitive and wanted to avoid that players get an "unfair advantage" by selling the expensive spawners. That's why they removed the ability to delete spawners in the first place.

I personally would either use the guest spawners without the building (like I used to do it with all my zoos before the ability to delete was removed) or earn money in a new zoo by buying golden lions for CC and selling them for money untill I can afford new spawners.

Not getting money for deleting an be an inconvenience when one wants to start a zoo in the middle of the map, but it's much better than no ability to delete.

Was buying all those primates the setup, the punchline, or the entire joke?
Yes

Well actually the joke started as a curious idea - just how many primates I can buy before my laptop bursts in flames. Well it turned out I may have spent 50 minutes buying primates, now I was left with a very laggy habitat full of every primate staring at it why did I do this 🤣

Ah yes, the competetive mode in a game thats allready easy enough to cheese.
Just put in food stalls, tortoises and exhibits with management on, put on fast forward and go afk.
Once you come back you got a bunch of money and cc, because cc as a currency is totally not flawed with the only thing keeping it "ballanced" being that the market prize are inflated as hell

I’m still having this problem with putting in pre made habitats in my zoo it’s still doing this I try to put it on the ground it goes right through the ground I don’t understand why I really need this problem resolved. And my friend @Aramar is the one who posted this problem almost a month ago and it still hasn’t been resolved.

Aha but the real challenge comes when your zoo is to big to get a good framrate with 7,000 guests and to expensive to run to limit the guests. Trying to run a large franchise zoo with only 2,000 guests is the real deal my friend ;)

ah the prebuilt habitat issues, i believe thats a very long standing bug. Alright so i place the habitat down, flatten terrain tool to get rid of the ditch and then smooth tool to make it look nice. I do turn off angle snap and manually level the habitat so the path fence does not appear

so I can replicate the exact issue at hand - put the habitat down one more step to align the path with terrain, the terrain will then not cover the path

Just placed down , i tried all other prebuilt habitats and yes they all do this

Following with a round of flatten terrain and then smooth terrain (just covering the ditch not the entire habitat) and looks pretty much like it should

Thanks I’ll give that a try I hope they fix this bug eventually

Hi Frontier, do you know that Clouded leopards jump in slow motion still since the SEA pack? :(

but the new dlc is very good but pls make emu enrich with wallaby and Kangaroo! and make people able to enter emu habitat.
Exactly in my home state we have a safari place called Hollywild and the tourist feed food to animals via a bus and the emu is one of them when I was a little kid I was riding on that bus talking to my grandpa and wasn’t paying attention and an emu bit me while taking the food out of my hand. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
