Can I just say how wholesome this armadillo interaction is?! I love how the first armadillo is chilling on ground and the second one join it and they cuddle.❤️
That got to be one of the cutest interactions in game for sure.

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere on the forums yet, but – I don't know if I'm going crazy, but is it possible that some random pieces disappeared in existing files with the update? I was browsing around in my large zoo file yesterday and suddenly saw that several custom wall pieces were missing in my beaver habitat. I thought maybe I had them in a group that I deleted, but there were three or four other random bits and pieces that I found missing as well around the zoo, mostly custom scenery objects like walls or even one climbing frame I had in my binturong habitat. I thought I was going crazy until I saw DanXG mention the same thing happened to Tropical Wings Zoo in his latest video. (I have no mods installed and haven't used any for at least two updates, so it can't be that.)

There's quite a few mentions of disappearing buildings and objects across other social media aswell. Walkthrough exhibits, vet buildings, staff rooms are among mentions over the last week puzzling us why they disappeared

Ok that is just scary😧. Just imagine a Building you worked so hard on just disappears. I hope the developers Will look into it soon.

Saw on Reddit that an entire butterfly exhibit scenery and all disappeared after hours of work, I would be furious if that happened to me

We noticed it in one of our saves as well. An entire set of walls have randomly disappeared, and loading in older versions of the save file gets the same result 😅
 
Hi Frontier, I just noticed that I can't recolor the scratching post enrichment anymore. Or at least not like before. When I change one of the two colors, the other one changes automatically as well. Moreover, the change of color doesn't save. Every time I reopen my save file, the scratching post is back to its default colors. It's very weird. I don't know if I'm the only one with this (minor) issue but thought I would share the info. Hope it can be fixed in the next patch.

And while I'm at it, I also noticed the blue wildebeest and the spotted hyena tend to become very blurry when they run at a certain distance. I know every animal can get a little blurry when it is far away and you have a big zoo with lots of pieces and animals, but the blue wildebeest and the hyena are worse than the others. You can't really distinguish them anymore.

Anyone else notice that armadillo dissapear if you zoom on them when they use the termite mound enrichment?
Also noticed this. If I remember correctly, the Dingo had similar issue with the pool enrichment when it was released . Hopefully this one will get fixed too.
 
I don't know if I am the right topic or not, but I would really like an option in sandbox mode to use multiple biome grounds. When you build a zoo with different regions, it would be nice to use the biome grounds for those regions. It would definitely match better with the rockformations you can use for those different biomes.

AFAIK, Planet Zoo's engine (just like Planet Coaster back in the day) can only have 12 different textures of terrain per map. So whilst it's a heavily requested feature, the engine doesn't support it and it would probably require a lot of time and money to change that :)

Yup, they could however at least give us the option to select which textures we'd like to have in the zoo when we start one. It's one of the many features PC already had but PZ is missing for whatever reason, even though it's a much requested thing and would be so useful to have.

I remember that Chante said they were going to look into it at one point, but that it is different for PZ given that the terrain has actual meaning in terms of welfare. I know people are going to say that that is not important for sandbox, but I assume that they would also want that to be available in Franchise where it is.

Either way, I'd love a swapping feature as well, but maybe there's just reasons why it isn't done (yet) that I'm just not seeing here.
 
I also feel strongly that we should be able to pick our own selection of biome textures. It’s a huge issue for me - probably the biggest in the game - and for this reason I will bring it up at every opportunity.

If people chose the “wrong” biome texture in Franchise for example that is their problem, it shouldn’t prevent sandbox players from having this opportunity.

It still wouldn’t be ideal but another thing I would appreciate it if we could at least switch selections completely. So be able to pick the full temperate biome palate for any map for example.

I think we will get the planet coaster tools when development ends which will hopefully include the terrain choices and the thememaker. It feels like we won't get these options when potential dlc could still be made

If it’s technically possible I don’t see why we would have to wait for that.
