Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

Got to love how belatedly Sandi squashed her 'knowing smile' when turning back to camera. Just not quite in time.

Good lord...

We're in the 13th (lucky 13!) year of development for this game, and they've only now decided to discuss the technical aspects of delivering a core aspect of the game???

To be fair to Turbulent, they were only dumped with this just over a year ago...yup, the task of approaching and implementing server meshing into the spaghetti code dumpster fire of Star Citizen has got nothing to do with Ci¬G except by extension, they failed with their attempt pretty spectacularly with the collapse of i-cache or p-cache or whatever it was called and progressed no further. Benoit Beausejour and the rapidly expanding Turbulent stepped in to bail them out. Just in case you missed it, Turbulent are also responsible for the development and integration of PES into the PU. (reference link to the latest Star Citizen Live video...in case of the emergence of strange, distant voices of disbelief or dissension)

I suspect the 'discussions' about the 'technical aspects' are relative to Ci¬G being told in no uncertain terms to front up the development cost before Turbulent get to it.

...But hang on a minute, didn't @WotGTheAgent, myself and a couple of others already predict a good while back that Turbulent would be more heavily involved with the development of star citizen as the idiot Roberts drove the failing Ci¬G further into ignominy with Sqn 404? 🤷‍♂️

I don't understand, commandos don't buy ships, they give money to CI to support the development of Star Citizen.

One thing all you FUDsters seem to forget is that the best things are the ones you have to wait for. The longer the wait, the better the thing. Consequently, Star Citizen is already the best game ever because it will never see a release.

Says you doing low level psyop FUD attacks.

My imagination is running a GTRX 1000000, is fully raytraced and playing Star Citizen now at almost 60fps.
