Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

Everything I've struck through (example) in your comment there exists in Elite Dangerous. But because you're blinkered by your fanaticism to SC, and don't play Elite (or many other games I'm sensibly guessing) you don't actually know.

Once again the only thing you're accomplishing here is embarrassing yourself.
Ho boy, just compare the combined arms of ED with the one of SC. Or the forest of ED with those of SC. Massive has also not the same meaning in SC since the 100 players cap upgrade, you can use 'big' in ED if you want 😅

I didn't know for the caves, ok for this one.

"Game doesn't have feature"
"Yes it does"
"But I don't like them!"

or is it their customary obfuscation, prevarications, and misrepresentations?

Always.

Some of what he was describing can be found in SC, and some things he wasn't describing can be found in SC and not in ED.
For me, I don't care having a billion planets if they have less diversity than the planets of the sole Stanton system in SC (even if they are at the 'real size')

The diversity IS there. We just can't land on those planets.

You attack a settlement in a team using ships, SRVs, and ground troops. Literally combined arms. Or are you changing the definition of combined arms to suit your flawed narrative?
Ok, it's combined arms. A very limited one but you can say it exists.

2023...

In Montreal, Online Services planned the year ahead, discussing Server Meshing with the Networking team. The goal was to achieve technical design consensus and division of responsibilities between the teams in order to deliver the feature. The following week, Online Services further defined the tasks needed to achieve Server Meshing tier 0.

January saw the Locations team continuing work on Pyro’s Ruin Station.

“This is a behemoth task that the team have been diligently working on and it's looking better day on day.” EU Locations 1

We're in the 13th (lucky 13!) year of development for this game, and they've only now decided to discuss the technical aspects of delivering a core aspect of the game???

Yeah, unskippable grind is worst. That's why I'm gonna enable cheats in Valheim to get my corpse back from the 3 wolves camping it in the plains. ...
I did the same. And I never looked back. On every map I will do everything once, from first principles. Thereafter however I mostly (but not always) spawn the things I need. If I know how to do it and have done it before, then repetition is imho unrewarding grind. And I can't be bothered. Not when all I want to build is a chest or a workbench that I have built ten times before.

The trigger point for me was/is more or less the same as yours.
