Greetings Commanders!

Quite a bumper beat for a Monday morning today, in the form of Discovery Scanner latest!

In this week's instalment you'll find a recap on last week's communications, plus some little updates to known issue progress from game side news, followed by an important note for a future planned revision to the Influencer Team's YouTube 'Elite Dangerous Partner Program' creator criteria and a celebration of a favourite Elite Dangerous series season kick off.

Have a wonderful week ahead, Commanders o7

Controlled systems, we can openly confirm, are harder to pushback so bar progress will appear much slower, however as this is causing some confusion amidst Commanders, the team are looking to add additional clarity to help with better representation of this in a pending update.

This is extremely discouraging to hear.
Before the 14.02 patch, we had barely managed to recapture any controlled systems - I believe there were only 2 or 3 successes - hardly indicating a lack of balance when the thargoids were capturing at least 50 systems per week. Why on earth were these systems "rebalanced" to be practically impossible? It makes the entire war pointless because we have no hope at all of reclaiming any territory. I can't see how "better representation" of how hopeless our situation is will change that, and especially if we have to wait for the next pending update (i.e. update 15) for any sign of change.

Ned, rest assured your thoughts will be fed back and talked through. We're capturing so very many of them right now - if that's of any reassurance to you in the meantime.

It's pretty sad that the BGS tick inconsistency will remain this way. It's a nightmare how even after 8-10 hours the tick has passed you still can't trust the influence numbers to be accurate - that's nearly halfway to the next tick.

Oh ,really? And would you say that they are going to be heard, more or less than this thread?

always the same answers.
shame
There's plenty of threads all over the place which feed into the conversation pipeline on this side, for sure! Not even from threads like that but from individual conversations you all have over the course of the years - that's in addition to the reports on refinement and issue tackling too - it's all massively valuable.
It does take some organising and planning around development though which, we appreciate isn't as fast as many of you would like but we can but aim to achieve in as managable a way as possible for you all over time o7

Well, stop making ridiculous feedback threads that you don't even look at, that thread there is more than 1 and a half years old...
do you really need 2 years to fix essential things in a game? they're pretty quick for skins, just saying

By the way, do you have access to Braven and ask him what happened about that public statement after Odyssey?
Just give the answer to these oldfans, I think I know it, but these oldfans could be waiting for her for the rest of their lives, that's cruel

Interesting implication. Does that mean I'm the only person who could have read that post?

Well, no that would just be silly.

Personally, if I was asking for feedback on something I'd let a conversation run without injecting my own thoughts as that would impact what others say and then you don't get proper responses.
