Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

I've seen this before, more than likely he's in a system with a blue-white giant as the main star, it gives all lifeforms an eerie glow.
Yeah, they're quite bright.
But I feel like these are even brighter:

That one seemed to light up even the inside of this station so much that you'd better wear sunglasses when disembarking...

I love some lava :geek:
Nice and toasty place.
Ouch, yeah, that's an understatement, have you tried surfing those yet? Makes me nervous as heck doing it, I came back to the bubble from Colonia via the Hurt-Hiway right after I bought my Anaconda, I had a pit in my stomach the whole way.
I think I tried it once while I still was in the PFAcademy at Dromi... Had no real idea of how to do it or anything...
Still don't know how I made it out of there in one piece...
Didn't get far, though...

And I never tried it again, so far. Always keeping a respectful distance to them if I encounter one.

I decided to go max jump range to the next DSSA carrier, did 2500 Ly in 43 jumps, this is what it looked like one jump away.

Seems rather precarious being in such proximity to something so dangerous, the view from the concourse bar is breathtaking.

I dumped 37 pages of planetary discoveries at 50 systems per page and made about 750 million credits after the carriers 25% cut. But the big mula was freaking shocking, 5.5 billion off of Vista, jump back and kiss my self. Here is just a few pages.

Now that's a disturbing image :p
Hey, what can I say? I was excited ;) . One thing I don't like is I jumped from geneticist to elite, that ain't fair to the commanders that earned it the hard way, big slap in the face. I don't mind the money but they really should rethink the way players gain rank.

I'll bet you dollars to donuts that they'll have a CG to push the Thargoids out of the bubble and tons of players will get elite or better in combat, they'll up the credits and rank is always tied to that.

Here is just a few pages.

I wonder what happens to a pirate that tries to interdict you while you prepare to and actually jump to your next destination...
How I got the idea? Well, I was on my way from system A to system B via system C. And right after I dropped into system C, while I was adjusting my heading and accelerating to get away from the star to let the ship cool down, a pirate showed up and tried to interdict me (the usual procedere, message: "I'mgonnagetyourtastycargo!" and after a brief period of preparation the actual interdiction). I instantly activated the heatsink to get the ship cool and jumped on the loud pedal to jump. While the jump preparation was underway, the interdiction started and I did my best to evade it and keep my heading in the general direction of my destination. As you might have guessed by my initial quesry, it was a success. Now I'm wondering if the pirate might have gotten a free, albeit kinda forced, intense suntan...

As far as I'm aware, there already have been some changes made. Elseways you might now be Elite III... At least.
Okay, that's better, I won't feel so guilty now. I got pretty blown away by how much I made, when I arrived I glanced at my total credits before I turned in any data and I was at 5.2 billion, I figured maybe two or three billion, not 5.5 billion. I almost ran outside and burned the Buick. I also noticed some DSSA carriers are advertising no fees on Vista Genomics

I think I'm going to head south back towards the Parade Grounds, hunt around there a bit then back to Colonia to grab my combat ship (Krait Mk II), go to the bubble, refit for antizeno, and join the fight, can't let you guys have all the fun.

With all that exodata, i think you would’ve made it through Geneticist to Elite even with the original low-paying levels - congratulations, that was an incredible journey, especially with the extra 2400LY! That photo of the remote fleet carrier in front of the neutron star is Stellar stuff - awesome pic👌

That's a heck of a lot of data being handed in there! Congrats!

I was getting nervous packing around that much bio-data, especially after my bungling into those twin blackholes in the void, I was incredibly fortunate that my escape vector popped up right off the nose of my ship. I felt like such a n00b, I still get the willys thinking about it.

The void always manages to catch us off-guard with some unexpected, never seen feature.

Is there a fleet carrier in your future?

They did, they elongated the scale and applied it to everyone. So all the commanders who had Elite by the original scale were demoted, before you even began collecting samples after that update...

I would have had a complete nervous breakdown carrying half that value of data.

Very well done.
