Yeah, I won't blame that (apart from the obvious unmanaged consequences on server and client perfs in the longrun): that's where PES gets all its meaning. Not in the mug lost and found years apart in a remote location, or pile of cans in a bin.

Lol. If CIG wanted systems of the same quality than ED, the whole galaxy will already be there.
Hahahahahaha... they are not capable of making a basic Celestial Mechanic, not even dreaming they will be able to match the Stellar Forge:

And this is not simple Lore... like the one they invent for each star system in SC (although in reality, after 11 years, no matter how much Lore they have invented, we only have Stanton, and not complete), it is something that is in the game, in all the celestial bodies that exist in the game. Sure, CIG can do a Stellar Forge tomorrow in 2 hours... they just don't want to....

The reality is that in a Space Sim, having the interior of the ships is something completely unnecessary and secondary, while having a complete realistic galaxy to explore is vital and absolutely essential to be able to make an interesting exploration mechanic.

SC players can feel very happy to have the interior of their ships, it's something very well done and looks "cool" (for some people, for me of course it's completely unnecessary in a Space Sim), but nothing more. ED players can be very happy to have the Stellar Forge and 400 billion systems to explore. Sincerely, if you prefer ship interiors to a complete galaxy, perfect, but understand that it is only your wish... and that for a Space Sim, as it is logical, the second is much more interesting than the first.

But the saddest part of the issue is that there could be a situation in the future where ED will have ship interiors (I think and hope not), but I doubt that SC will have 400 billion star systems... in fact, I doubt it will even reach the 100 it has been promising for years.

Looking forward to seeing what inter-system travel effect they put in to hide the loading screen for Pyro.
Looking forward even more to the backers realisation that the server meshing promised by the Manc Yank is never happening.
 
LOL - As I understand it the Pyro system is a desolate, lifeless star system - if it's so easy where is it after a decade plus, particularly as it's been trumpeted as coming for several years?
You understand wrong. Just look at the ruin station of Pyro or the new outposts.
