Seems to be the norm now. Everything shows on sale on the first day, then it breaks on the second day.
Just bought some fleet carrier cosmetics for my alt account on legacy, thanks for keeping legacy around.

Also is there any chance in the future common cosmetics are purchased on both live and legacy? Decided i would like the type 9 hazard pack on sale, but hesitating to buy some arx as for this account its not clear whether i'll need it on live or legacy. Both really, but buying the same cosmetic twice on the same account is a bit much.
Just want to say, the Cutter Vanguard skins knocked it out of the park! I haven't bought a Cutter skin until now because none of them were any good, but I'm 100% buying at least one of these. Great job to the skin team!
This doesn't sound nice at all.
I tend to buy paintjobs for my ships, except for the Cutter.
In that case, I buy Cutters for my paintjobs.
I have more Cutters than I would care to admit, and I will buy more at the drop of a hat.

Indeed! I suppose wait for the new transfer they are talking about, and then wait again for another sale.. Personally I wouldn't buy any cosmetics at the moment if I was in your position.
I recently returned after nearly 2 years away. I played on my previously unused Steam EDH account to get re-aquainted with ED again. I'm now playing on my original EDO commander, but was considering upgrading the Steam account to Odyssey. I really didn't want to spend the money, but the Spring sale gave me the push I needed.

The fact you cannot have multiple commanders at a single account still bogs me, but at least I could support you guys during these hard times...

I started over on pc a few weeks back and man I regret it big time, can't keep the spacebucks saved up, I'm just about bankrupt on my commander... I miss my fleet carrier, because it's not o fun flying to Colonia for me at a small jump range, now its beginning to be engineered and can jump 37lys a jump. I don't like doing exobiology but i don't know what else there is with less than 30 mil on hand. A good way is to hang out in res zones and help the security forces, then maybe trade. Stacking pirate massacre missions can pay even better. And of course trading can give you a lot quickly. Still a bit of a slog to get up to a carrier though. Hopefully you'll get another chance to transfer the console account soon.
Maybe try the FCOC Discord and look for FCs leaving for Colonia and take a ride...
As other have suggested, look around FCOC Discordia for rides to Colonia, it is super fun to travel with others, I am on one atm. Other than that, there are some proven ways to earn money: Robigo runs, trading with the help of EDDB, Expressway to Exomastery tool or Road to Riches tool just to name a few. And hey, console transfer has just been announced. Whatever you do, fly safe, O7.
Surely that is not quite true. Only the newer repaints are "Live only" - stuff that was created before is available to both (e.g. hazard pack) I think you will find that each store item that is live only has the message:

They would probably need to enable buying them from a website that updates both (it used to be from a website back in frontierstore days so not that crazy), or sync the right database tables periodically (probably best not to go there).
He did say FUTURE cosmetics, which will only be Live only, but maybe I misunderstood. All I know is that Legacy is not getting any new content, and that includes cosmetics.
