I'm just wondering... why is Tasmanian devil still not released? The #1 animal in the meta-wishlist has been released in each DLC, but the Tasmanian devil has remained #1 for a long time, not being released. Why would it be?

Frontier can't give us every single thing we want in each pack. It makes sense to spread out highly desired animals over multiple packs as it guarantees continued revenue for frontier, and more sales = more likelyhood of future packs for us players :)

Pretty sure we will eventually see the Tassie devil and other highly desired species in the future to keep people in the game and purchasing dlc

I'm almost entirely certain that Frontier planned what pack the Tasmanian devil was going to feature in long ago (hence their absence from packs like Conservation and Twilight) and we just haven't gotten to that stage in their release plans yet. As my most wanted animal since launch I'd definitely rather have it sooner than later, but I'm at least consoled by the knowledge that it's probably the single most likely animal to come to the game at some point.

They are keeping the most popular species for the next packs. I think that porcupine and tassie would be the leaders of the next packs.

I don’t think there’s any reason to doubt it’s inclusion in game. I personally could live with or without it but I’m sure frontier is well aware of the masses wanting this animal. My guess is the same reason we got the lar gibbon instead of a SA primate. They must have other plans that tie into how and when these animals get released.

Im a little unsure about an islands pack now.
This idea was already heavily packed on oceania, which some people criticised. Now that the fossa is out of the fossa, tree kangaroo, kiwi and tassie quartett it lost its main madagascar rep.
Ofcourse nothing stop them from putting in an aye aye or other lemur instead but you know

While I'm definitely surprised each time the last three packs have been revealed that they didn't get crossed off the list, I am confident they will show up before the end of the game's official support. When I say I'm surprised they weren't included, the Twilight pack would have been a great place for them, and I'm surprised they weren't in it. With the December and this new pack, the themes don't match for what the TD could be included in, I just figured that we'd get a theme that they could be added to.

After this many packs, I'm not going to keep assuming it will be in the "next" pack, but again, I do think they will make it in. Aside from Islands theme, I'm not sure what is the best pack idea for them, but they will almost certainly find a way in.

Frontier could still do an Islands pack with the Tassie and more.

Thank you for all of your opinions, I hope Tasmanian devils make to the game some day.
