Did he ever make a MP game?
Freelancer, although it wasn't him who got it to release since he had to be removed so MS could get it released.

Wing Commander Armada, but as a producer, so "make" is a very flexible word.Did he ever make a MP game?
I actually enjoyed Armada! I used to play it with my college roommate over a serial port connection, LOL. It's easy to judge past games by current standards and say, "That's rubbish", but back in the day it seemed pretty cutting-edge to me.Wing Commander Armada, but as a producer, so "make" is a very flexible word.
Used to play it back in the day with friends. Good odds you will never run into anyone else who played it during its run as it was a flop. The highlight of the multiplayer was being able to share (ahead of time) insult audio files with your opponent to then use as triggerable insults during play, something rarely seen since. Otherwise, it wasn't very good as there wasn't much to do tactically, was just jousting.
Welcome to interacting with the Petite Picnic Pillager, champion of the sidestep…I'm not making a point. I asked you a simple question.
Why is there NOT > 1 city on a planet?
Edit:
reread my posts to Little Ant and my original question was with the procgen why not put everyting (giant city, industrial city, standard city, floating cityand at least 16 biomes) on one planet to test, because Little Ant also said "...they need server meshing before as creating planets without being able to go to them is not really useful."
I'm just asking questions based on what you (Little Ant) told me.
So much for those odds. This is why I don't gamble.I actually enjoyed Armada!
La Mancha is actually rather flat and dry, you shouldnt be getting lost there too often. So yeah, checks outStar Citizen: Lost In La Mancha
FWIW, I completely missed out on the Elite 2, Frontier, etc and all the X-Universe games back then. Somehow I didn't know they existed. I'm guessing that being foreign games, they weren't sold in the local CompUSA? I don't know, that was a very busy time of my life back then, so I wasn't anywhere the serious gamer that I am today. Ironic since I was a "kid" back then and now I'm and old duck. Maybe those other "serious" space games were right under my nose and I missed them!My group of friends liked space games so gave it a go but didn't think highly of it.

Tachyon: The Fringe on Steam

But, as you explore the vastly detailed world of Tachyon: The Fringe, you will often find that the most powerful...store.steampowered.com
Bonus: Has voiceover by Bruce Campbell.
Might have been SoftWarehouse back then, before its stupid name change. But yeah, I never saw Elite in stores here, I had to find Elite Plus at a trade show based on word of mouth, the others I uhh made legal purchases of through local BBSes. A lot of European/British classics never made it here, like The Settlers was another that couldn't be found in stores. A big part of the problem was that the Amiga flopped in NA so the ecosystem diverged. Out of that whole era, we got Lemmings.FWIW, I completely missed out on the Elite 2, Frontier, etc and all the X-Universe games back then. Somehow I didn't know they existed. Probably most of the great space games of the past that I assume had a lighter presence outside of NA were strategy/adventure. Star Control (1 was strategy/action, 2 was adventure/action), Master of Orion 2, Space Quest (the series), etc..Maybe those other "serious" space games were right under my nose and I missed them!
Disgraceful FUD, the PU is fine...
Look up ‘Kzinti’ sometime.Yeah... I missed that one too.
But I did play a number of the Wing Commander series! I actually enjoyed those, even the silly Cat Klingons.
P = MPYou know what I think?
MP games are hard.
X1 and 2 were pretty much underdog german games with low market penetration. Back then they'd still have to vie for shelf space in brick and mortar shop. X3 was maybe a breakthrough in market. Ensuing digital distribution helped to break big publisher's hold on what gets listed and what doesnt. Today the english part of the forum has surpassed thegerman section and it's probably one of the top sellers in the niche while still being a heavy sim focus.FWIW, I completely missed out on the Elite 2, Frontier, etc and all the X-Universe games back then.
