How come the tornados don’t kill the dinosaurs and visitors in the game?

I never really understood this part of the game as it was the same for JWE 1 as well. The tornados only destroy buildings and fences.

In JPOG they killed dinosaurs and visitors and made the emergency shelters extremely useful.

However in JWE 1 and 2 the tornados don’t do that and it makes the emergency shelters pretty useless honestly.

Frontier, will something like this eventually come to the game or is this something that will not happen?

UK on Jurassic mode would be unwinnable unless you got lucky with contracts (I think). You always get struck by a tornado right at the beginning.

It makes sense for sure though.

I think this was done because they didn’t want to make it way too difficult than they were already making and going for. Even if it’s a series of developing decisions you may not necessarily agree with.

To be fair they could always tweak it how they see fit. Since they already have the ability to dodge guests and dinosaurs.

Imagine you just spent millions in game on a really high appeal T Rex and needed to wait a while for funds to build up before you could continue to expand. Then completely at random a tornado wipes out your T Rex and half your other Dinosaurs. Now all that money is wasted and you have nothing to help earn the money back. Thats probably why tornadoes don't kill Dinosaurs.

While that is true however, it would add an extra layer of difficulty. I know there are players who like greater challenges and this game is very different from JPOG, they could still make it work. JPOG did incorporate it nicely.

They could do something like “insurance” for a dinosaur if it dies during a tornado you get a little money back that could also work. That way it doesn’t break are funds entirely.

But on some true facts though, those emergency shelters are useless lol since tornados don’t kill visitors and it takes a few seconds to sedate a dinosaur. We really only add them just to get that star in the park cause it “requires” us to do it lol.

Difficulty yes but it wouldn't be at all fun. It would just be frustrating to lose all your progress completely at random with no way to prevent or avoid it.

Ehhh it’s debatable and I can see your point. They could just make it an option for players who can turn it on or off. Also adds some replay ability factor for the game as well if they did at it as well and make the emergency shelters useful.

The PC version of Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis can be modded to have no twisters/ tornados.

Twisters/ tornados are troublesome in the Jurassic difficulty challenge modes of Jurassic World: Evolution 1 & 2. It might look unwise to sedate all the dangerous dinosaurs before the twister/ tornado strikes the park in Jurassic World: Evolution 1. If guests are killed by the tornado, it might add to the Guest Injury Lawsuit costs.

In sandbox gameplay, it can be switched off.

I agree it can be troublesome and I not saying that challenge mode isn’t “challenging” ,but I feel like adding it, would add extra difficulty and make the game much more challenging.
They could always tweak it however they see fit though if it does become a problem for players.
It is odd having a tornado drop down and it just dodges every visitor and dinosaur and does nothing to them lol 😂😂😂
