Way back, not sure how long, there was no "kill zone" if you fell through a planet. So you would fall through the planet and eventually end up at the core with everything else that had fallen through the planet. Boxes and npc's mainly. You also could occasionally glitch a ship through the ground and fly to the center of the planet.
If i remember right, if it was just your player character you would start experience higher and higher heat as you got closer to the center. Has been years since this was a thing though.

I was looking to see if Joe Bloobers was still shilling for CIG, didn't find any recent comments from him on articles, although SC article comment sections aren't as active as they used to be. I guess a lot of the wider gaming community have forgotten about it... in fact, that was a frequent comment from people, or people simply saying "Oh, is it released?" with someone replying "No" and then a shill coming in saying "But they are still adding features all the time".
I did see one post from someone with a JB white knight avatar. Maybe he copped a ban and created an alt, or someone who simply took the same avatar (it was someone defending CIG, saying its the best game ever, so my guess is the former).
And reading some of the faithful comments, i've come to realize one of the scams CIG managed to pull off was convincing backers that stuff other games do regularly is hard, spend years doing it, and then are celebrated by backers for achieving it, instead of them saying "took you long enough!"

I think it's him. That account on massivelyop posted to almost every Star Citizen article since 2017 and is still around and write the same way
with the smiley faces and mistakes with third-person singular.

Don't want to speak for Roberto but I think he meant the experience encompassed by the gastrointestinal regret one often suffers after such a rash purchase. Of course, SC has that gameplay covered too!
