More Abelisaurs and Megaraptorans SUMMARY.

Earlier in conversation with my friend DragonNTiger. I decided from that inspiration that I had with the conversation with my friend to make a list of prime candidates for inclusion from both these families

MEGARAPTORIDAE as you know we only have one member of this group in the game so I'm hoping more of this family gets added and there is a possibility that this particular group is actually related to the earliest member of tyrannosaurus such as Tyrannosauroids like the current YUTYRANNUS is appart of. Or could possibly be related to allosaurids paleontologists are not so sure. Anyway here is my list of candidates for Frontier to include into the game of this particular group. Also their numbered from my most wanted to least wanted on this list. There is one more thing I would like this group to have feathers.

ABELISAURIDAE here is another group of animals that is related to the Jurassic animal Ceratosaurus yep it's the that produced Carnotaurus and majungasaurus. The rulers of the South my absolutely also think this group is still a little underrepresented with only just two of the most famous species so here are a few that I know that are probably going to be very popular with a lot of you.

anyway I hope you enjoy this thread because I hope Frontier adds at least some of these species from both these family groups into the game because we are a little under saturated with these particular family groups as T-Rex and Spinosaurus and Giganotosaurus now have extended families cuz I think Frontier should focus on these particular groups what do you think please like this thread if you want Frontier to notice.

I believe the current consensus based on the 2022 description of Maip macrothorax that megaraptora is nestled deep in coelurosauria as a sister taxon to the tyrannosauroids.

That is a really good Theory my friend.
I really want this species in the game because it's pretty much now the carnotaurus slapper🤣. But anyway a giant megaraptor definitely would fit in the game if it were added to Jurassic World evolution 2 since Austrolovenator looks lonely

I meant to say that the current consensus is that Megaraptorids are a sister group to the tyrannosauroids based on the author of the description of Maip in 2022.

Sorry I misspoke I meant to say that I really think that's really cool thesis and I really like the idea that they could be a sister group to the tyrannosaurs. Although their history is still a little murky although it is cool that now there are papers like this to clarify what the megaraptors are. Because if you look at their skulls they look similar to the tyrannosaurs if you look at the features so I agree maybe they are sister species.

It's also like they did the opposite of tyrannosaurs. Tyrannosaurs went for small arms but huge powerful, bone crushing heads, while megaraptorids went for long arms with big claws and I'm not sure about their bite forces but they were probably not as strong as most tyrannosaurs, but you get the point.
