This moment will eventually come, The ultimate “meat-eating animals(not just carnivores)wish list (just habitat)”

I'm not sure if you mean carnivorans or carnivores in general but imma assume the former and not include tassie devil or Numbat.

The must
Wolverine
Spectacled bear
South american coati
Margay
Walrus

the good
ocelot (as alternative to margay)
Pallas cat
Honey badger
Yellow throated marten
Black backed jackal
Bush dog
Sloth bear

personal wants
Banded mongoose
new Zealand fur seal
Bobcat

This is tough because I do feel like the animas I want are what would make me overwhelmingly satisfied with the game. So "only myself" is sort of synonymous with "must" . But I will follow by the rules anyways.

The“must”:
Andean Bear
Coatimundi
Eurasian Otter or North American River Otter (just a temperate otter)
Bush Dog
Nile Crocodile.

The“good”:
Wolverine
Fishing cat
Banded Mongoose
Yellow-Throated Marten
Bat-Eared Fox
Serval

The“only myself”:
Marbled Polecat
African Civet
Jaguarundi

So this shall include all carnivores, or specifically carnivorans? I am going with the latter.

Must-haves
South American Coati - This is an extremely common small mammal in zoos and one that also represents SA, it is a win-win. I also think it is basically the last carnivoran that we really need.

Good additions
Spectacled Bear - I know some people are tired of bears already, but I think SA deserve its one and only bear too.
Serval - I am used to see these more than Caracals, I think they would complete the African cats nicely.
Wolverine - Very popular around here, and unique enough to justify another carnivore imo.
Honey Badger - I think one more badger species would not hurt, and these are iconic. Not too common in zoos, but luckily a zoo near me has them.
Sea Otter - this is the only otter species that I think would still be justified, because it has unique behaviours really.

Personal fanvorites
- I am just putting all my favourite dogs down here, because I like them, but I also understand people have enough of canines.
Racoon Dog
Bush Dog
Bat-Eared Fox
Black-Back Jackal

The Must
Wolverine (an iconic animal of the northern wilderness)

The Good
Andean Bear (unique distribution and appearance for its family)
Tanuki (one more canid and its unique so not much of a clone)
Walrus (iconic and I think it could show up at some point)
Pallas' Cat (weird but cute would add highland type representation)
Ocelot (another tropical small cat)
North American River Otter (we could use a temperate otter)

The Not Bad
Coyote
Sea Otter

The My Personal Wants
  • Bat-eared Fox (my all time most wanted animal in the game!) Even though its a fourth(!) fox, I think it would add to the game in terms of being unique genetically, having a different diet (insects), its pretty coloring and face, and its a true safari canid of which we presently only have the African Wild Dog).
  • Black-backed Jackal (could be an alternative safari canid and iconic culture).
  • Sumatran Tiger (one of the most unique tigers left)
  • Sloth Bear (how can you not like his fluffiness!)
  • Grey Fox (a tree climbing dog that is also pretty)
  • Honey Badger (would be a cool exotic type)

The“must”:
Wolverine (my personal #1 want now)
Tasmanian Devil

The“good”:
Spectacled Bear (As my 4th most wanted mammal it's almost a must but I am less confident that it'll be included. Still, if we get another bear, which doesn't seem completely unlikely, the general consensus is that it should be the Spectacled Bear)
Shoebill Stork
Secretary Bird
Walrus
Coatimundi
Bat Eared Fox - This is kind of lower in of possibilities, but I'm including it since it's the fox that most everyone would be alright with as an addition.
Honey Badger - Also lower end for possibilities but I can't say that it's completely unlikely.

The“no bad”:
I don't really have any that would fit in here, honestly. I have some I'd be neutral on, but nothing that's really a bad inclusion.

The“only myself”:
Tayra
Harp Seal
Black Backed Jackal
African Civet
Coyote
North American River Otter

I mean both Carnivores and Carnivorans.

Must:
Ocelot
Secretary bird
Tasmanian devil
White-nosed coati
American black bear

Good:
Sumatran tiger
Spectacled bear

No bad
Perentie
Green anaconda
Brown hyena
Wolverine
Serval
Sea otter

I don't want them:
Nile crocodile
Pallas cat

Split my species into three different categories given I found that easier. Only ended up with 5 out of 15 species being carnivorans lol but there's not much else from the group that I'm super keen for.

Must-haves (species both I and many people in the community consider essential):
1. Tasmanian Devil
2. South American Coati (how have coatis not been mentioned here yet?)

Good Additions (species that aren't essential but most of the community would not be against):
3. Northern Caiman Lizard
4. Perentie
5. West African Slender-snouted Crocodile
6. Red-legged Seriema
7. Little Penguin
8. Spotted-tailed Quoll
9. Serval
10. Yellow-throated Marten

Personal Favourites (species that are either little-known to or would not be welcomed by most of the wider community):
11. Freshwater Crocodile
12. Chuditch (duh)
13. Rakali
14. Australian Sea Lion
15. Leopard Seal
Dude, thanks for listing so many special animals, many of which I've never seen mentioned before in the community.
However, as far as I know, Northern Caiman Lizardare generally kept in display boxes, like display animals. So, if you have time, please modify this one. But if you think it can be placed in a habitat, it can, and I'll note that.

The Must:

  • Wolverine
  • Tasmanian Devil

The Good:
  • Secretary Bird
  • Ocelot or Margay(take your pick, but one of these has to make the cut)
  • Lace Monitor(but really any large land lizard would work)

The Not Bad:
  • Little Blue Penguin
  • Asian Golden Cat
  • Jaguarundi
  • Sea Otter
  • Serval
  • Roadrunner
  • Asiatic Lion

The I don't care if you don't but I really want:
  • Black Caiman - my favorite crocodilian, but since we already have 2 caimans...
  • Iberian Lynx
  • Red Wolf - probably too similar to the Timber Wolf to have a realistic chance in game.
I got it,the first Jaguarundi appeared.(y)

Gonna stick mostly within Carnivora just cos there are too many options otherwise! But I'll include tasmanian devil too as they are an obvious parralel evolution.

MUSTS
Wolverine
Sea Otter
Tasmanian Devil
Spectacled Bear

GOOD
Sloth Bear
Coati sp.
Ocelot
Honey Badger
Serval
Bush Dog
Pallas Cat
Pine Marten
Raccoon Dog/Tanuki

MY UNLIKELY PERSONAL WANTS
Banded Mongoose
Black-backed Jackal
That`s cool,dude.

Marsupials can be selected.
Except for categories that have not appeared in the game, as long as the animal is “meat-eating”, it can be selected.

You still have 5 slots to choose from, to fill them up.

Since we don't yet know whether large snakes like green anacondas are habitat or display animals, I'll note that in the list. Thanks for playing, bro.

However, as far as I know, Northern Caiman Lizardare generally kept in display boxes, like display animals. So, if you have time, please modify this one. But if you think it can be placed in a habitat, it can, and I'll note that.
They are almost as large as the average Nile monitor or dwarf caiman, so they fall within the same size bracket as the smallest habitat reptiles we currently have and would function largely the same way.

I'm changing mine a bit since it's not just carnivorans. my new one is below.

the must
Wolverine
Tasmanian Devil
South American coati
Perentie
Walrus

the good
Ocelot
Pallas cat
Honey badger
Yellow throated marten
Black backed jackal
Spectacled bear
