As most of us know, the 1st Anniversary Gift probably had to be skipped due to Complications caused by the Pandemic.
We already have a thread for Future Anniversary Animals, but I wanted to create a new one dedicated just for the skipped 1st Anniversary. Since Frontier would have to go out of its way for a Retrospective Anniversary Gift, the ideas shared on this thread should really be "Low Effort", instead of some of the more "Unique" and "Time Consuming" Choices shared on the other one. Here are some "Low Effort" 1st Anniversary Gift ideas I can think of:
It could be an Exhibit Animal, which is potentially more Cost Efficient and less Time-Consuming to make than a Habitat Animal. Even Exhibit choices shouldn't be too unique. An easy to make Snake (not a Cobra) could be a good choice, given Animals associated with Phobias are usually not included in Paid DLC, at least until now.
1) Emerald Tree Boa from Boa Constrictor: Would be the Game's 3rd Boa, making it less unique than a Python, the latter which could be featured in a DLC. Yes I did mention Phobias playing a part in DLC Animal Choices, but a separate Creepy Crawlers Pack with Snakes and Arachnids could still be an option for some of the more unique choices.
2) Eastern Copperhead from Western Diamondback Rattlesnake: Would be the Game's 2nd Pit Viper, if I'm not mistaken. Also fills the Temperate Forest Snake Niche for the East Coast, a good alternative to the Rattler we have, which is Western/Central and mostly Arid to Semi-Arid.
3) Inland Taipan from Eastern Brown Snake: Another brownish snake from Australia. Does have Winter and Summer colouration differences, but Seasonal Differences in Animals are yet to be implemented to the Game anyway.
It could also be a different Subspecies or Subpopulation of a Habitat Animal already in the Game. Different Species could be too much work, even if they are similar, unless almost identical like different Crested Porcupines.
1) Eurasian Wolf from the Arctic or Timber Wolves: I particularly like this Idea, since it would be accompanied with the Timber Wolf being renamed to Northwestern Wolf.
2) Sumatran Tiger from Bengal Tiger: Along with the Siberian, the most common Zoo Tiger. Also adds flavour to the game by introducing a much smaller and distinct looking Tiger.
3) African Leopard from Amur Leopard: I know many people still want the African Leopard to complete the Big 5 and also past Zoo Game Rosters, as well as to get a Leopard with a Melanistic Morph.
I limited my Exhibit and Habitat choices to 3 each, in order not to cover too many Possibilities, so the Community can share the rest.
