Haha. Everyone is wrong with SC. We overestimated the awakening of backers consciousness, faithful and CIG overestimate since years their capacity to properly deliver sq404, other systems, fundamental Jesus Techs.Do you remember the 90 days top ? Still waiting for the funding to crash because everyone will realise 'soon' there is nothing to do in SC and that the bugs prevent any correct game session

I don't think they really overestimate their capacity to deliver. They know they cannot even if they announce a date. For example, there is no way they thought SQ42 was ready for a 2016 release when they were announcing it. Either that, or they are led by absolute morons. And I don't think they are.
And you underestimate how SC is fun and addictive for a lot of gamers. Keep wondering why the funding is working so well. And be prepared to see a big boost in funding for the next months

I think you might be confused. You are linking to Counter Strike when you are talking about money laundering. While popular and fun, Star Citizen is no where near as popular.
And I agree, we should not trust the funding tracker. non audited and all. No one should mention it and anyone who says "haha sc has spent half a billion dollars and look how buggy it is" should be shouted down by everyone. We all know there is no way people have pledged $500 million. Patently ridiculous and anyone who believes that is a fool!

Sounds like as fun as ED with basic Sidey. What do you ACTUALLY do in SC LittleAnt? As far as I understand basic package gives you ships that are essentially not very capable at anything? As far as I know neither of basic ships are not any good in combat, cargo transport, or mining...
Okay other SC players on this thread can you enlighten me, what you can do and enjoy doing with basic package ships in SC?
I hope something is being added otherwise CIG would be perpetrating an ongoing massive theft.

Personally my problem with SC isn't what you can or can't do. That's irrelevant.
The dishonest & exploitative funding model makes the project a disgrace.
(... however it's also true mismanagement and lies over many years in terms of the actual development make it worse)
