CQC is actually quite good. I have played a bit more of it than arena commander though but I must say CQC imo does a really good job in most fronts. Flight model, fluidity, map layouts and balance etc. And in VR it is just a dream. The main bits that CQC falls short imo is the fact it is pretty much decoupled from the rest of the game and that there is no way to arrange for non ranked private matches.
If FDEV decided to integrate it into the game via, say, community goals and lore, with some actual in game stations hosting tourneys impacting BGS or the like that would be awesome.

This guy obviously has not read CIG COO’s memo about them prioritizing ship related issues, as most players want, instead of giving priority to stability or class A crash bugs which the players can learn to live with it or work around.

The process of developing SC is worth any price, as long as it is others who pay for it, not me anymore. This is the first game that delivered me so much fun before it even released.
SQ 42 deserves proper funding.
They raise the prices on some of the popular ships/jpegs/starter packages either just before or just after every sale event...makes it feel like a proper 'sale' then, doesn't it? One thing you can guarantee with Ci~G...the prices never go down

Most of Ci~G's marketing scummery has been bordering on the illegal in the EU/UK for years. Trouble is, no government body as yet has actually enforced any of the already existing consumer protection laws when it comes to star citizen...lack of complaints or pursuants, lack of diligent effort on their behalf...I've no idea.
As I mentioned previously, I suspect an incoming change to Ci~G's TOS and EULA in short order to attempt to circumvent some of the new more stringent UK laws about to be put in place. As @VR Golgot suggested, the vanishment of Sqn 404 from the online store may have something to do with that
