New listening post found in HIP 83788

I went there after I read the initial post and it looked like it was actually new. I have not been around at the time when those listening posts were a thing, so I took the OP as starting point and solved it by me lonesome. The target system inside the listenting post triangle actually stuck out like a beacon if you had the galaxy map on realistic mode.

That was fun!

Did you the Hawking Gap, Formidine Rift and Conflux bases? They are all part of the same storyline.

I'd do Formidine Rift last, purely for Zurara's sake, and also because it's absolutely lovely in approach with Heart and Soul nebulae nearby Very fitting for the last part of the journey.

Yeah, it's a little odd. Makes me wonder if it is a late addition. I was part of the HIP crew for a bit and we mapped quite a few of them. Maybe we just missed this one.

Listening Posts, like the OP found, are easy to miss and they often lead to abandoned places like that.

One has to wonder how much more stuff we've not discovered yet

This is why I am bruteforcing the galaxy since two years. Havent found anything yet buuuuut I would have if someone else simply would not have jumped through the sector I was searching and would not have found a new guardian ruin. Things like this make me stay on course. Its realy still out there!
