Apes are monkeysYou can remember it like this:
Anything that doesn't have a tail is an Ape
And anything with a tail is a Monkey
That's how I had it explained to me
The African Crested Porcupine also has range in Italy, so Europe will be represented, and imo that gives the ACP the advantage. I've been predicting the whole time that if we were to get a desert pack, It would be Africa/Arabian Peninsula heavy with a couple of animals from the Americas and maybe an animal from the Outback.I'm reading comments about the pack being too Africa-heavy, but the porcupine could easily be the Indian crested porcupine and count towards Asia?
I dont think invasive populations really count as X representation. Otherwise we already have an australian representative with the dromedaryThe African Crested Porcupine also has range in Italy, so Europe will be represented, and imo that gives the ACP the advantage. God I hope not. The dromedary counts towards Asia, though, and so would the Hamadryas baboon if it appears in this pack.I'm reading comments about the pack being too Africa-heavy, but the porcupine could easily be the Indian crested porcupine and count towards Asia?
The Australian Population in fact is even the only "wild living" Dromedary population.I dont think invasive populations really count as X representation. Otherwise we already have an australian representative with the dromedary
That's another quirk of the English language - "wild" and "feral" are not considerd the same thing. For instance, mustangs in America are feral horses, but are not considered truly wild because they came from domestic stock. Likewise with Australian camels and water buffalo and of course feral cats all over the world. The Australian Population in fact is even the only "wild" Dromedary population.
Sleep is for the weakDamn, I was hoping I'd be able to catch the DLC announcement before bed, but I guess it will be a morning thing for me!
Thats why I have put wild in " ". But again thank you. That's another quirk of the English language - "wild" and "feral" are not considerd the same thing. On the other hand, Escobar's cocaine hippos are wild animals, even though they originally came from his private menagerie, because they weren't domesticated.
YAAAS!Sleep is for the weak
Twilight also didn’t teased us a scenery pack, but alas we got one.So I know a lot of people were looking into bird stuff, but remember: the twilight pack teased us with a raccoon, then dropped the fruit bat on us. Who knows what Frontier has planned for us? Lately I can’t predict what they plan with this game, so I’m excited!
