I agree but there’s still a general distaste for carnivorans in the forums and it seems it’s now being extended to ungulatesI wouldn't mind some more mustelids, we only have the badger. I'll be excited for a wolverine for sure! another otter? Sea otter? YES! seal? Elephant seal? YES! Another pinniped? Well how about the Walrus? YES YES!
Well we did just get a pack full of ungulates that add very little that previous ungulates didn't already cover... also the Blue Wildebeest, which has the same problem.I agree but there’s still a general distaste for carnivorans in the forums and it seems it’s now being extended to ungulates
I disagree but again it is all subjective. Now if we get a Gerenuk, a takin, fanged deer, duiker or something similar that is unique it would still in the community eyes be an “ungulate”Well we did just get a pack full of ungulates that add very little that previous ungulates didn't already cover... also the Blue Wildebeest, which has the same problem.
If they put a Dik Dik or pudu in a pack that otherwise don't feature any ungulates. I don't think you will end up hearing a lot of ungulate complains. There will be some, but not a noticable amount I believe.I disagree but again it is all subjective. With the carnivorans its more of a complaint about always the same kind of them being chosen i feel like, that kinda extended to a dislike of the whole group over time.If they put a Dik Dik or pudu in a pack that otherwise don't feature any ungulates. Carnivores gets the same kind of complaints but the Fossa didn't suffer much under it what I have noticed.
Even the sand cat this time seem to go a bit under the radar.
Also most packs had carnivoran similar to things already in the game. The fossa and sand cat are like nothing in the game, so they got a better response. Also cuteness is a major factor for the sand cat, if reddit is ajything to go by.With the carnivorans its more of a complaint about always the same kind of them being chosen i feel like, that kinda extended to a dislike of the whole group over time.
I assume people were more welcoming of the fossa because it wasnt a cat or dog for the 10th time
My picks would be:Just wondering with everyone. Let's say we get 3 more ungulates what 3 you gonna pick. Here's mine:
Sichuan takin
African Pygmy goat
Collared peccary
Hard to argue with that line up, you pretty much hit the nail on its headJust wondering with everyone. Let's say we get 3 more ungulates what 3 you gonna pick. Here's mine:

Throwing in my coin here as I'm one of the critics of the new pack. I think it's great to have more ungulates and I can see the value in each of the new additions (though slightly less in the black rhino). I do think that in this particular pack they should've reserved one spot for something else, i.e. the Hamadryas baboon. However, I do not have a problem with getting more ungulates and particularly more African antelopes as they are common zoo animals in general.I disagree but again it is all subjective.
