Newcomer / Intro Station services not showing facilities

Hey Everyone!
I've super new to this game so I'm sure I'm missing something. I just figured out how to know what services/facilities are offered on any particular port/station. But today I ran into something odd. While exploring the q1 Eridani system I was curious as to what services the Wendt Terminal provided. So I clicked on the system map and there's nothing listed under facilities. Yet when I landed there, they actually offered everything? What am I missing here? I've not landed at several places for the same reason and am wondering if they offered all services as well.

Hmmm. Seems like a bug. Maybe a restart of the sim will fix it. I jumped into that system without ever being there before, and when I called up the system map and clicked on Windt Terminal, it showed all the services there.

Did you click on the station itself then the "i" icon?

I am clicking on the station, as it shows it in the left pane, all the resources and stuff. Maybe I'm not clicking the "i" icon because I don't see that.

Wow, I'm definitely doing something wrong or different or maybe it's just set up differently for me but I have never seen that screen lol

Odyssey and Horizons Live (4.0) will have the same interface, Horizons Legacy (3.8) will have the old interface, so if yours isn't like that you must be on Legacy, which won't have the news Thargoid stuff and probably some old bugs that won't get fixed.

The options should be in your launcher (everyone got Live version even non-Odyssey accounts):

As a new player, maybe you didn't install the "Live" version?

Apparently that's what happened because Legacy Horizons is what's highlighted when I boot up

. So I need to uninstall that and install the Elite Dangerous Horizons one apparently. What a bummer. But of course I want the live version to get the updates.

Depending on where you purchased it you may or may not be able to delete the old version, but that's just disk space at the moment, it's not important, just understand that no progress you have made on the legacy version will carry over to the new version, only activity prior to the split will appear in the live version of Horizons, so if you started after that happened you will basically be starting with a new CMDR.

Thank you Veronica! I appreciate the help. That's what I did so I'm starting out with a new CMDR. So I'm grinding away! Maybe I'll get lucky and see you all out there!
