Ursus (Bear) pack idea

Especially to Planet Zoo creators and planners, what do you think of this idea? With that dlc pack idea, Planet Zoo will have ALL species of bears along with a few (and less identical from other subspecies) subspecies. The Formosan black bear's a subspecies of Asiatic black bear's.
  1. Sloth bear
  2. Spectacled bear
  3. American black bear
  4. Spirit bear, white subspecies of American black bear (Could that last or breed in captivity? If not, that'll be replaced with Kodiak bear or whatever subspecies that were less identical with another.)
What do you think?

why would you want two seperate american black bears? just have them be a different variant lol

I personally wouldn't mind it but I can imagine it would get a lot of backlash, and I actually understand why. While the Spectacled Bear kind of gets a pass by a lot of people because it would be the only South American Bear representative, everything else seems to have just as much detractors as supporters. In all honest too, a pack focusing on bears would be much like a back focusing on canines or felines - not really needed and too much of a group we already have a lot of in the game.

Well, spirit bears are white-like instead of darker color like most American black bear subspecies. For other species, there were hardly any differences between most subspecies. Each of most Asiatic black ones are black and had whitish cheat mark.
Also and besides, if anyone ask for pack featuring bears (whether or not), that'll be all I could think of while there were only three bear species left yet to be or not in that game.

No offense but to me, I think that's enough brown bear subspecies. One North America (grizzly) and one Old World subspecies. And most hardly differences besides the fur color-tones.

The majority of kermode bears are not white. The coloring is recessive and seen in only 10% of the population. There are believe to be less than 200 spirit bears in existence at any given time. Only one has ever been kept in captivity; an orphan named Clover. Given the bears significance to First Nations people, there have been several attempts to reintroduce Clover to the wild. Unfortunately, none of the attempts have been successful.

I'd far prefer having just a regular North American black bear in the game with the possibility of getting a white or cream morph. Only white members of the kermode subspecies are considered spirit bears, but other black bear populations have pale individuals which look similar and aren't as controversal to keep in captivity.

Spectacled Bear in a mountain Pack, American Black Bear in a Woodlands Pack and the Sloth Bear as anniversary Gift would be my Dream. I personally do not need another subspecies of already existing species we already have. But because you have asked for a Pack Idea my 4th choice would be the European Brown Bear as we do not have an European Bear (sub-)Species

I have been wanting a spectacled bear for a long time, the highland section of my SA zoo has an empty habitat that I made for them.
If we get spectacled bears first, then I will accept other bears.
2nd bear I’d like is the ABB
l don’t know how I’d feel with adding other bears
I had recently begun building a bear only zoo with exceptions to their cousins the pinnipeds, bearcats and red pandas and I see so much potential for other bears to make into the game

You mean binturongs? Hate to bring it to you but those arent closely related to bears, they are on the cat side of the family tree :)

I know I am well aware , I wanted to add them to the bear zoo as their name is the bearcat and wanted to have a few additional animals
