What was with the Striped Hyena? Don't remember it

I'm now pretty sure we're getting a Pallas's Cat for the colder season in the future.
The initial model they showcased had inaccuracies in the face that were argued over for a while. Frontier changed it in an update after the grasslands DLC released (I believe?? Or it might've been at release, I can't remember which).
I think the sand cat has same problem as striped hyena . The head of sand cat look a bit too big
I'm not sure it does, having given it another look - I think because it's so small, the fur can't be as detailed, so it's a bit difficult to tell what's solid body and what isn't. It looks to me like the red outline is the actual head, with the rest being fur. I could be wrong, but if I'm not, this looks good to me (and if I am, it still looks like a sand cat's head, just a bit too big, so an issue of proportion rather than design, which I'm willing to blame perspective for, unlike the original hyena).
It does in this image. I'm thinking it may just be leaning forward a bit. The terrain beneath it is uneven so this may be just a bad screenshot while using the animal orbit camera to get close up to it at the right level. The orbit cam kinda messes up perspective.
If it actually is too big though the devs need to go back and take another look at it please.

Looks good texture wise of course, but I can't tell if the head is off or if it's just a weird angle (eyes def look a little far apart)
Ah now that you pointed it out, I can't unsee it. Yes, definitely a little too far apart. Hopefully down the line they can tweak it slightly, but not a huge issue.
looks like the pallas cat in a way, got that neutral grumpy look. I guess a little tweaking and we got a highlands feline worked out.
Oh I have been thinking what looks a bit off to me and this is it. The general shape of the head is fine with me, since it differs between specimen, but the eyes could be a bit closer to each other. Would also like green eyes on it.
Yes I agree, looking at the comparison pics above the ears look more spaced out than they do on the real cat, too. Again, maybe it's just an angle thing though.
Now that we're discussing the face, I'm actually seeing a fluffier cougar face. Which, I mean, they're felines, so there's some similarities....
