Hopefully they will tweak in and it's not another Malayan Tapir situation. I think it's just the eye placement throwing everything off. The nose is wider between the eyes, the face doesn't look as scrunched up as it does in real life, like in the real life picture you can tell where the skull sort of ends and the extra floof kicks in whereas in the game photo the face just looks wider. And this could be an angle issue, but since it's all stemming from the eye placement, I am thinking it's not.

I don't think a different angle will make the face look suddenly better, sure its not a striped hyena moment but still weird enough.
I think the eyes should be moved closer together, but this Sand Cat certainly looks like we may see a Pallas's Cat in the future, if Highlands is an animal pack, I wouldn't mind seeing it.

They love to make us think they're horrible. That way, when the animal is actually good and it was a bad angle, we adore FrontierYep that is the question. Why this angles are used

I think the main problem is eyes , two eyes look a bit far away
To be honest, I do not own any DLC, so South America catched my attention mainly for the animals. There are only 2 animals from South America in the base game and I just love Anteaters. The tropical plants and scenery are a nice bonus too. If I had all of the DLC packs, I might have feel differently, but as someone that only has the base game, I feel like it is a very good DLC for start.
But I do like this DLC alot, I might get both. I have heard there might be a sale soon, so if I could get a good discount on the South American Pack, I might also get this one.

The cat looks gorgeous. I had my worries that it would be overly stylized, as Frontier seems to make the cats and dogs look more stylized than other animals but that's not the case here. I hope this opens the door to more small felines in future. I have my fingers crossed for a European wildcat.
I think the cat is almost perfect - yeah, their heads look just as oversized and weird in real life! Like they were put together from spare parts.

I agree that the eyes ought to be brought together a smidge. Also, the muzzle is too tall. The height should be reduced, but the width seems about right. The lower jaw sticks out a bit too much. The proportions of the kitten are better. I'm still psyched about a sand cat whether or not they change it.

If it is possible to edit it that good in a Picture, I think Frontier shouldn't have big Problems with fixing it. I still remember how quick the Binturong was changed and this Change would be even smaller.
