The question is: Where?I think genetic testing says 10 to 20 individuals remain in captivity. No sightings in the wild since the 80s.

It isn't at all about Planet Zoo. For Planet Zoo I would prefer the Hyazinth MacawQuestion: maybe you would like lear or hyacinth instead?
We know both exist and and lear is so similar you are trying to find out if possibly extcint species is still alive.
Wouldnt be lear macaw better option for PZ? Atleast we know it is still alive and is present in zoos.
It is only in 3 zoos. So I think we should stick with Hyacinth Macaw for now.Wouldn't be lear macaw better option for PZ? At least we know it is still alive and is present in zoos.

Lear's Macaws don't have grey on them. Could this be a Glaucous Macaw?

?How can a Macaw have 2 types of coloration on the head?
They are both Lear's Macaws.
Yes but they can have lots of different Colors. Some are more greyish, others slightly greenish, some are just blueThey are both Lear's Macaws.
Do you not know?
lol it's about the Glaucous Macaw. Not Macaws in generalNo, macaws are not extinct.
But the two other ones also have yellow next to the Beak and around their Eyes. Also there are different Shapes of the yellow Areas which makes a Identification based on those even harderView attachment 359253![]()
Lear's macaw vs. Hyacinth macaw vs. Glaucous macaw | All Differences
Lear's, Glaucous & Hyacinth macaws have different sizes, colors, behavior, and endangerment statuses. Among all, hyacinths are the greatest.macawpet.com
@Urufu1997 on the website, it said that the Glaucous Macaw had the yellow patch near the eye & beak.
The Glaucous Macaw on the website doesn't look like the one in the picture.
The yellow patch on the jaw is different.
That is what I am trying to tell you. Also there are different Shapes of the yellow Areas which makes a Identification based on those even harder
There's at least one of Chicks though too, which I've posted here beforeThat is what I am trying to tell you.
