Odyssery CZ and Suit Power

So I participated in my first ground CZ, I have an engineered Dom with Improved Battery, and by the time it ended I was on my last 8% suit power, having used both my recharges. I could not find anywhere to recharge, settlement power is offline.

What's the trick? Stay inside most of the time?

In CZs there are normally posts that you can recharge at, otherwise you might find power packs on the walls inside the buildings, or sometimes placed outside. In some settlements you can also use the normal charge points.

Ok did another and there was a charge port.

Also, my game connection rudely dropped and when I got back in I was at the CZ site, with no drop ship to take be back. I searched through the suit menus but could not see how I could join a side? I called Apex in the meantime.

Have a SRV parked safely close by as a last ditch resupply place. Ensure that you have a stock of batteries and med kits.

Your radar display will show live power sources, (recharge points or batteries) as well as a variety of ammo points. Bear in mind not all will be weapon ammo, some will be grenades.

Get to know the site layout and where the available resources are.

All of a sudden, all CZs disappeared, lol. I tried 3 other systems, all still at war, no CZs. What the heck...

If you get killed the SRV goes pop.
There is a way to join a side if you turn up on spec. Possibly check messages or transactions in the wheel menu, (been a long time since I've done this).

Not all the time. The odds are slightly in favour of losing the SRV though.

And, who gets killed anyway?

Plan B is after returning via dropship, summon the ship with spare SRVs.

You can use the wheel to sign up (select the 12 o'clock and go through until you find the sign up). Easier to sign up via the SRV.

If the CZ disappears, the conflict has ended.

It's the E key, same as after the CZ finishes.
