Lego Asp Scout (UCS minifig 1:96ish scale) update

Do hard points deploy?
Yes- I did a photo of one side here:

In an earlier version I had a little dial you twisted which pulled up the door, however the space in this version is too limited (because clearance for the interior aspect was tight).

Honestly it is just stunning! Truly amazing work!

It's been great to watch the journey, I hope you don't have withdrawal symptons :)

Looks like I should have followed this thread earlier... if these forums had a rep button like the old ones, I'd have broken it with extreme stabbing.

Mucho kudos.

It (the ship) has a fully detailed lower deck as well- I might take a few more photos to show this off. It also has a fully working SRV bay (and hatch) and a cargo hatch door.

But, one of the objectives was to make every area and deck accessible as possible via ladder- so, the front lower cockpit has a ladder up into the main cockpit, from the rear ramp there is a swing down ladder that emerges in the centre of the 'main' deck (left pic is the ladder under the yellow castle pieces on the right- the gray half circle hatch folds down for clearance)

You also have a swing down ladder (so you have an unobstructed access through) to the (what I call) engineering deck (out of focus :( )

And from that deck / platform you have a ladder to the side that comes down to the storage area (some bits are removed here for clarity- the model has a lot of modular parts for ease of access).

So from the cockpits you can walk all the way through the ship, board the ramp and have a coffee or lower the folded SRV :D
So we finally got interiors after all. Did Starfield devs take inspiration from your build?

I’ve said it more than once… I am in awe that this awesome build was done with real Lego.
While I don't begrudge anyone who does virtual Lego, at the same time digital bricks kind of lose that charm. You also don't have to consider structural issues either (but photography is far far easier!).

Dude this project has taken you an eternity to complete! I started following this thread years ago. Love the interiors, and I would hazard a guess all that LEGO cost a fortune, it looks like a really large model. Great work!

An absolute stella bit of work, mate!
The details are fantastic and wonderfully executed.
I don't know what I'm impressed about the most - the model itself or you managing to move it downstairs without a Lego Alderran moment.
The model is about 5600 pieces and really heavy :D I had to take off all the detachable parts to lighten it enough and be able to fit through doors.

Thanks! It took so long because I was buying Lego as I went. If I was building it from scratch now it'd take a few weeks as I have most things to hand.

That looks amazing. Could you get a pic of it beside a banana or space loach for reference? :D
And/or another pic of it in front of the moon?
Anaconda next?!
