One does not simply activate mistress mode without Asp Explorer!
That sounds like it could work for Supercruise, the lo-wake transition could also be used to set that up. And if normal space speeds are manageable, then that could be a reasonable path to full interiors. Full movement at normal speeds, but everyone has to be restrained for the jump to supercruise/hyperspace, game creates instance in background and then everyone can get up again once in supercruise or jump to new system has completed.Which is what I've said many times in the past that FD could do in order to give ship interiors with minimal hassle.
However, there is a cheat you can kind of use to give ship interiors with movement, and that is put in "windows" (eg: in the cockpit) that are simply viewports to the external view. So when inside, the interior "map" isn't actually moving, but as you steer the ship, it makes the ship move externally in the external space, and that is reflected on the cockpit view.
Which we have already, to be fair. This is a whole lot simpler than the way CIG does it from a technical point of view, the only issue is that you can't have a seamless transition between interior and exterior, it has to be fade to black.
Future Starfield streamer?
I can see the headlines now... "Pointless Star Citizen YouTube creator has massive man crisis!"
I understand that, but it's a job like anything else and burn out is the same. And believe it or not, what may seem like a dream job because you're streaming your favorite video game can become more problematic if you start to burn out over it. At least with a "regular" day job you can go and play that favorite video game to de-stress from it, but if it's also your job? The whole "Do what you love for a living and you'll never work a day in your life" thing is a bit of a false promise. I also think it explains some youtubers who turn to the darkside as it were and become agents of opposition to the thing that they were initially passionate about, especially when they think things aren't moving the way they think they should. Which itself can be fueled by a overblown feeling of being a participant in the development process, rather than an observer.I can see the headlines now... Nobody is interested in your male menopausal whining, get a proper job you vacuous t**t![]()

OK, bitten the bullet and gonna play some SC tonight on my live stream after a loooooong break.
Maybe I'm just broken and don't possess the political correctness gene to properly appreciate the full life altering drama of his predicament, I shall go outside immediately and contemplate this on the tree of woe...I understand that, but it's a job like anything else and burn out is the same. Just sometimes, the Sergeant Major in me just wants to go slap the stupid out some folk
u sure? Pretty sure I've looked in at a bar from my ship and had ppl wave back. Plus the interiors were found initially using freecam clipping when a dev added them by accident. And they do move - which is why everyone has to sit down when them jump ...Yes, FCs seem to work like this, although they don't really move.

The tree of woe has nothing on my Christmas Cactus of Disappointment.I like to think the tree of woe has a cow next to it. One with a really judgemental face.

It was the only pic I could find on the entirety of t'interweb that had a cow blowing kisses...appropriate sentiment for that video I thought. None of my cows were that friendlyIs 'Bigstock' a specialist livestock site?![]()
Correction : there is more things to do in ED if you count tasks available but there is more to do in SC if you count diversity of tasksSome people liking one or the other game is fine.
The only thing I categorically cannot agree with is "there is more to do in SC than in ED" - that is a blatant lie and I have personally proved it by making a comparison spreadsheet on my Hussars Discord.
Fact: There is more things to do in Elite than in SC.
