Fix the Black Rhinoceros Neck

I say try the remaster, Tapirs still move mostly the same, it might hold its head a little higher, but the bodyshape change really makes up for the animals movements.
sadly a remaster of the black rhino wont fix it as its issue stems mainly from animations, wich modders cant adjust just yet.

I know frontier cares about giving us the best animals, its really shown in how much care they put in each model, we can see how much the team has grown and improved and the care and detail they put in is outstanding, wich is also why its such a shame, the beautifull model is mostly just not accurate because of the animations.
a few minor things ive seen people note out such as the thickness of the neck or stomach and whatnot can be overlooked or even fixed with a remaster. but not the animations, the fast its posture is wrong for 90% being in a pose it might be in only 10% in real life is very sad and makes it look like a black rhino head slapped on a small white rhino.

So i really hope they will fix that, the reason people wanted a black rhino for so long is because it behaves and moves distinctly from other rhinos.
I know thats also why Malayan Tapirs were so wanted, because its diffrent from their american relatives.
New to the convo, but I'm not sure I'm convinced.

To me Malayan tapirs look a lot more wobbly with their shorter legs and heavy body, while New World tapirs are almost horse-like with their trot and sprint. Also the mod doesn't appear to address the leg issue much, especially in how it affects movement, in addition to how different it looks.

[I would insert the original mod comparison pic by Narwhaler here to show it keeping body and leg proportions, but it isn't allowed]

Also the neck posture needs to change.

can someone import the zt3 tapir to pz? it looked and moved like a malayan tapir

It’ll move the exact same and look worse than the remaster OR basegame one lol
i dont know man.. i get that texture or mesh whatever you guys call it will not be good enough but that can be fixed with mods, movement can't
Are we really at the stage where we would rather have a zt3 tapir than use the malayan tapir ingame 😂 come on it isn't that bad to go that far.
it is at least a malayan tapir, not a painted bairds tapir
actually zt3 malayan tapir is pretty good, in that game the american ones were the paint jobs, opposite of what we have in pz now
malayan tapir in zt3 is much much better, just not good enough texture which can be fixed in a mod
in the perfect world we would have zt3 malayan rig and pz bairds rig

with black rhino we dont have this option since zt3 black rhino also failed badly because of different heads for same body method and base body being white rhino again
with tapirs it is at least opposite in each game

Oh yeah, as rigs go, modders can do some crazy stuff (as seen with the fish mods) but for a lot of things, we do in fact need cooperation from the devs themselves.
If some of the prominent animal modders and the animal artists at Frontier could meet and maybe exchange ideas, that'd be ideal af

I'd suggest it myself but I have no idea how to actually do so without coming off as too forward

I'd like to thank Frontier for listening to our feedback and adjusting the Black Rhinoceros in update 1.14.1!
I would also like to thank everyone who helped here and in other parts of the forums and other places who added to the feedback and was respectfull about it.

I say topic can be closed and we can focus on say the Malayan Tapir again.
