Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

I can't wrap my head around how you did that... If I try this in Coriolis, all I get is this: Plain Annie.
Part of my secret is my Anaconda is fitted with a pre-engineered 6A FSD which was a community goal reward for shipping goods to build the Colonia Bridge. You can't get these now and it adds a few light years extra jump range above a regular engineered 6A FSD. Then my build is also lower mass than yours. I could cut more mass from it but I want reasonable shields and the ability to boost.

It will be an extreme build probably with one of the trick double engineered modules or something with guardian tech, without those I can design something that will do 80+ as shown below the real trick is to find someone daft enough to fly in it.

Yes I am using the Colonia Bridge CG reward double engineered 6A FSD.

Now the pieces all gather neatly and fall into place...

My mind is blown away by how much damage these ships take.

I built an Anaconda to do the Neutron Highway also, some time ago. I do not have the super cool FSD, though. But I tested it well, took a fairly long test run in it and learned how to use the neutron boost properly.

I planned to use it to commute to Colonia and back, before I had a carrier. In fact it was before carriers were a thing. I had a small fleet in Colonia so I could in theory go back and forth whenever. That's why I have 2 Corvettes :)

Now all my ships just ride along with me everywhere.

I still have it. It's just kinda sitting there now.

But this is the build. It's quite sufficient for the task, really.

If I don't cheat with the double engineered FSD mine comes out at 75.24ly unladen jump range. I doubt I'll ever drag my fleet carrier all the way to Colonia, so a quick way to get to Colonia seems appealing but then I won't have my main exploration ship with me when I get there.
I keep a Krait MKII for missions and combat, Orca for sight seeing passenger missions, Cobra for Odyssey ground mission and a Python for mining in Colonia.
I'll hop on a carrier with this Anaconda and my Phantom when I return to the bubble. I'm not sure I'll have a reason to revisit Colonia after this trip, unless personal equipment engineering becomes less obusive and role play breaking. Becoming a murder for gaffa tape ruins the role playing element for me so I won't do it.

Three jumps closer to my destination.
In the previous days, My camping grounds were on planets with biosigns - so far, I have found:
Frutexa Acus emerald
Fonticula Campestris red
Stratum Tectonitas green.
None of the were first dicoveries, as far as I am aware.
Today's stint had a system with a lone star, one with a lone gas giant and the one I am in now - several geologicals, no bios.
Guess what, the planet I chose to land on to check for geos gave me a first footfall. Didn't expect that.
But I sensed that there was something awry, even as I still was in orbit, DSSing... Instead of some POIs that lead to those geos, all I get is a "heatmap", about as useful as if they just painted the planet blue... And my fears got confimed as I came close to the ground - I haven't found a single geyser or fumarole... sigh

I will refer you to this post, made by a fellow who did no murders whatsoever.

So it can be done.

I myself mostly avoided the murderhobo routine, preferring to do missions (which I think are a ton of fun). I'm not as squeaky clean as that guy, though :)

Yeah, or a cutting torch. :) Like you said, plasma cutter, isn't that kinda what LASER's are?
No, lasers are literally highly concentrated light. Often used for cutting, too. But they usually cut quite clean with little to no buildup on the edges.
The plasma of plasmacutters is more or less highly energized gas (which also means quite hot). It's cuts are usually not as clean as those of lasers, with quite some slag buildup on the edges.
For the humans, the plasma accelerator is the closest we have in game and some mods for projectile weapons that encase the bullet in plasma. No plasma beams as far as I know.
But I guess especially the thargoid Glaives use a plasma beam attack, albeit with a little more electricity in them, quite like lightning.
Your ship kinda looks like it got hit by some of these...

What about targeting and destroying an escape pod after I destroy a ship? I get so friggen mad at those pirates, I can't help myself, it's rather gratifying in a special way. If they weren't so ruthless, I'm sure I wouldn't do it.

Off to some do some CZ's for fun. Haven't tried my new Aphelion yet. Now at the wonderfully named "Slough Orbital" to pick up some bang bang bonds.

I now have an L-6, an Oppressor, an AR-50 and an Executioner all currenty at G3 with zero mods. They all need upgrades and mods before I take them into battle so that will keep me quiet for a while.

Mind you, I haven't done any exploration or salad dressing in quite some time so I might take those up for a bit. Come to think of it, which I do, I haven't done any mining either. Hmmm.
