Thargoid Hyperdictions Now Impossible to Escape for Casual Travel?

I don't fight the Thargoids in my ship. I'm not a space combat person. But I've never had trouble escaping hyperdictions and interdictions when they happened while I was forced to pass through Thargoid-controlled space until a few updates ago when the Thargoids were seemingly made ridiculously overpowered. Now I either get killed before my Frame Shift Drive can recharge, or they disable my Frame Shift Drive and then kill me. Is this a glitch or are they trying to make it impossible to play the game?

You probably encountered the new hunter thargoid, they have a nasty missile which can reboot your FSD. You can use ECM to counter that (utility slot).

Assign a keybind or fire group to it and listen to the missile lock on warning cue, then hold the button and the missile will go haywire.

Keep boosting away, it won't fire another missile for a while but you will still take some damage from it's normal attack. When your FSD cooldown is up, start charging your jump.

With proper timing and a little luck, you will successfully jump before the 2nd missile hits you.

Moving past the fact there are already several other threads on this in Dangerous Discussion(one thats like 30 pages), and St0rmFury has already given you the short version of the tactics once encountered, but you are never forced to pass through Thargoid-controlled systems.

I would suggest learning to use the Galaxy Map filters.(Pilots Federation Mode > System State Filter > Uncheck all Thargoid related system states, Alert/Invasion/Control/Counterstrike/etc)

Then, you can safely travel the Bubble with no risk from Thargoids.(It's still possible to run into Thargoid Hyperdictions in the Pleaides and other nebulas, but as far as I'm aware those Thargoids are still peaceful if you don't shoot them or have cargo that makes them angry)

It is completely optional content. Intentionally flying through a warzone and complaining you were killed is nonsensical. There's a warning pop-up window in the top-middle of the screen when you begin charging a jump to unsafe space. It's there for a reason.

Wrong, then we also should have the capability to travel at the ridiculous speed of 750 m/s. This is not ok, and to think so is a brainwashed ideaology.

Um, nothing I said was wrong, you disliking Glaives doesn't change factual information.
But good news! You can in fact build ships that permaboost in excess of 750ms, even iCouriers that break 800ms. It is entirely possible to outrun a Glaive, with a specialized ship.

Also, what is "not ok"? They are only a threat in the warzone, which is incredibly easy to avoid, and foolish to enter unprepared.

That is your "opinion". In my "Opinion" you are wrong. And to build a speed specific ship as you state would be absolutely worthless in a viable capacity. So no, your argument is invalid.

Lmao, okay buddy. The post you quoted and said was "wrong" was me explaining how to use the Galaxy Map Filters to avoid Thargoids, there was no "opinion" in that post. It was literal facts, unless you dispute that's how the Galaxy Map works?
Also, you stated you wished we could travel 750ms as if it was some fantasy, I just told you it's quite possible to achieve, and has many uses. One of which relating to the Thargoid war is building an iCourier for AX reactivations, as an alternative to using a combat ship and fighting the Glaives. But keep moving the goalposts.

ok......buddy. A totally stripped down Courier does 632 m/s. I want legit screenshots on this fairytale

I've got some issues with Glaives, having very slowly wandered back to the Bubble (set off when the invasion started, got back a couple of weeks ago), built myself an AX ship, and kept running in to Glaives that melted my Guardian gear (should've probably kept an eye on what was actually going on with the Thargoids before wandering in there), but it didn't take me too long to figure out how to avoid them, namely run off popping heatsinks. That's got me out of every hyperdiction from them so far.

Probably would never have met one in the first place if I hadn't deliberately gone in to Thargoid-controlled space.

Now I've just got to deal with the fact I'm pretty poor at combat. The Thargoids are giving me a bit of motivation to finally try to do something about that.

And a stripped down engineered Courier can permaboost 880.

Even a fairly tanky Courier can outrun a Glaive. My AX Reactivation Courier boosts to 788, dropping to 745-750 before boosting again, easily outruns them with enough shields and armour to tank some revenant damage at settlements. And because you lose a jump of fuel when you get hyperdicted, it actually boosts to over 800 in practice.

Obviously you have no clue about some of the details in the game. Stop acting like you know everything. Also, the Glaives have their weak points that allow you to escape even in slower ships.

Sometimes I get that strange feeling of déjà vu...

Here ya go. As a bonus, I'll even include the build ;) : https://s.orbis.zone/mt90

Are two solutions to this question :
1 - move to Colonia
2 - put some AX weapons on your ship. I found this annoying Speedy Gonzales tharg very easy ( and satisfactory ! ) to pop even with only a pair of decent AX weapons.
ALL my high value cargo boats now are armed with AX weapons. Pirates - I outrun them. Hunters - kill them.

two ecms, reasonable speed and perhaps some shield should be enough to deal with thargoid hunters if you arent aiming for combat.
