I'm thinking of making a recreation of the Dubbo zoo. Also commonly known as the taronga western Plains zoo. Onec I have started I'll post some pictures here. But for the time being, I was wondering if anyone else had been there and has some photos I could use. I'm pretty sure it's the 3rd biggest zoo in Australia so I feel like someone here would've seen it.

I was there just in June! It was my second visit, but the last time I was there would have been over a decade ago now. I took quite a few photos, but most of them were just close up shots of particular animals rather than enclosures. I'll post the few habitat pics I did get below:

Biggest Tasmanian devil habitat I've seen in any zoo
Koala + quokka + short-beaked echidna mixed species habitat (which itself is within an emu + red-necked wallaby + swamp wallaby walkthrough)
Just in case you weren't aware, most of the zoo is able to be viewed in street view on Google Maps, so that'd be a great resource to use as a reference.
Keep in mind this zoo at a 1:1 scale exceeds the map size by 3 times (in land area terms), it will have to be scaled smaller than real life like many of the Australian zoo builds I have seen. As always I suggest Google maps for the street view, Google earth (for 3d viewing of the zoo facilities or measuring distance), zoochat and Google images for pictures and YouTube for any 20 + minute walking tours of the zoo.
I'm thinking of more doing it as inspired by the zoo. I'll probably make less room between each of the habitats. I'm taking the idea sort of from leafs San Diego zoo inspired one that he's currently making.

I tried recreating Dubbo Zoo once, we now have much of the animals that are kept there, so recreating it is much easier than it used to be.
Yeah I think we've got everything except for the auodad, Tasmanian devil, echidna, Quokka and spider monkey.
We're also still missing the blackbuck, banteng and Persian onager, but there are reasonable substitutes for all of those (blackbuck with any antelope, banteng with water buffalo and onager with wild ass).

It’s also worth remembering that there are very strict limitations in place on the animals Australian zoos can bring into the country and you might want to bear that in mind when making substitutions.

Yeah I was just listing the ones I couldn't easily substitute for the time being. Just finished my ring-tailed lemur habitat by the entrance. And I'm gonna move onto the spider monkeys which I'll sub for capuchins.
I'll hopefully post some pictures of the habitats when I get home assuming I'm not too busy.
