Can we get accessibility options for phobias?

Hello,

I was wondering if we could get an accessibility option for those of us that have arachnophobia, would you guys be willing to add the option to block/remove spiders from the game. It would really make it more accessible and enjoyable for those of us who like the game, but really get uncomfortable with spiders. I was thinking this could be implemented for people with a variety of well known phobias such as fear of snakes, insects, and spiders. I was thinking you guys can take a poll and see which ones are affecting people the most in the game, and implement them in the options.

I really enjoy the game, but the photorealistic spiders creep me out and make me not fully enjoy the game without being cautious about seeing them in-game. I and many other people would be grateful if you would consider the option because it would the game more accessible for us with these special needs.

Yes but they show up in animal trading and other menus. Especially in career mode and time challenges with pre-built zoos. The images that show up do affect people, just because it may not affect one individual doesn't mean it doesn't affect many others. I was just wanting it to be an "option" for those who loves animals, but have certain phobias. Many games now have accessibility settings to help people with special needs such as colour blind modes and such, phobias are a mental health issue hence why I thought it should considered an addition to the game.

i manage my phobia decently while playing and scroll past them fast in the market etc, but it would honnestly be nice if we had a way to have such animals get a diffrent icon option for phobia sensitive animals.
that way you wont see them while going past them in the animal market.

Yeah this is what I do as of right now, but sometimes I see them by accident and it makes me uncomfortable. I can only imagine how some other people feel when they see it. The game is so great though, I can't stop playing.

Yeah I don't really like the Burrowing cockaroach. But I could always just not use it. I don't see how the tiny image scrolling past can trigger people that much.

Also I trust anything navigare says cause they have a reaction score of 21000. Like I didn't think anyone on here had sent that many messages.

Yes, but respectfully as I've said before it's good to be an accessibility option, because these animals bother other people even worse than myself. It's just like how games have options for colour blind people, these phobias are like a mental disability and accessibility options were meant to help people with disabilities to have options to make the game more accessible to them.

It's out on my Nexus! Sorry it took so long. We were debating the best way to implement it, and the solution was removing visuals of them from the marketplace and Zoopedia. Hope it helps!

Ornithophobia and Pithecophobia already exist in game! You may not see it but it is felt. By that I mean frontier is afraid of adding monkeys and birds

I agree that this is a good idea.
Alternately, you could filter the trade menu by selecting everything except for, in this case, spiders.
I have arachnophobia myself, but oddly enough the in-game spiders don't bother me

I mean I'd hate a spider crawling on me irl. Like that sounds horrible. But I know the pixels on my screen can't do that. And not really bothered by the look of them, some species are even kinda cute as long as their behind a glass wall. So that's why it dosent bother me too much either.
