You mean Soon™.......I predict that salvaging refueling and ship interiors will be in soon.

Besides the nonsense that would make any physics teacher have a seizure, there ARE proper ways to do it, starting with not using a dated FPS engine that was made for small, flat maps. You just explain how any game proposing a specific gravity in enclosed space while being in a larger space with another gravity could do it. There is not hundred ways to do it...
As I'm not sure if you really know the game, I precise it's a joke, they are already in game. You mean Soon™.......
No I did not miss the subject. Gravity, and physics in general, do not work like that. And the choice of having this quite naive, even ignorant implementation is, I repeat, out of strict limitations from the old FPS engine SC is based on. That's why for example in SC you'll never get ring space stations with realistic artificial gravity (the ring rotates, you walk on the perimeter) and why the actual stations in SC have just horizontal layers like a building. Again this is coherent with CRoberts having a bulldozer pushing ships off the deck of a space carrier, and these ships "falling off". Same physics. You've missed the subject. I talk about nested 'technical spaces' with different 'gravity' (aka vectors are different between the child and parent spaces).(...)
So explain, I'm curious. From a game dev point of view, how do you manage nested vectors for a ship (with 300 items in it) with internal gravity toward x in atmospheric flight above a planet with a vector toward y ?there ARE proper ways to do it
I precise it's a joke
As you are short on believers here, I'm pleased to offer you something to discuss in january 2024, my prediction for 2023
- SQ42 beta end of 2023, early 2024
- Vulkan late this year
- Second system late 2023, early 2024
iCache a huge mess at start, good tech at the end of 2021PES released, sorry to not let this one- real components in ships
- power management in ships
- some animals and créatures on planets (no clue about this but I've a good feeling about it
)
At least wait early 2024 as I said.Your actual predictions def are comedy gold![]()
For sure you'll not have this sort of thing and nobody ask for it. It's a nightmare to code in a game with nested gravity vectors ! It's hard enough to do it with just nested 'flat' layers. That's why for example in SC you'll never get ring space stations with realistic artificial gravity (the ring rotates, you walk on the perimeter) and why the actual stations in SC have just horizontal layers like a building.
Yeah I am actually a backer from 2013 and still have that Origin ship 315p so yeah I jump in from time 2 time like every month or so to check what's new and usually after 30min of running around and delivering a packages In glitched and broken world I pretty much get bored especially when I see bugs that are been in game for years and still no one cares to fix them....so I guess have no idea if salvaging is possible for us mortal citizens or is it there just for whales/evocaties testing....but also to be honest I could not care any less....As I'm not sure if you really know the game, I precise it's a joke, they are already in game.

See you, space cowboy
Wow, that is some purely personal hate dedicated site. Not even hate for a video game, but hate carefully and specifically targeted at a specific person. Didn´t imagine you were familiar with such hating sites man. Honestly surprised.
You should try salvaging, it's pretty cool.Yeah I am actually a backer from 2013 and still have that Origin ship 315p so yeah I jump in from time 2 time like every month or so to check what's new and usually after 30min of running around and delivering a packages In glitched and broken world I pretty much get bored especially when I see bugs that are been in game for years and still no one cares to fix them....so I guess have no idea if salvaging is possible for us mortal citizens or is it there just for whales/evocaties testing....but also to be honest I could not care any less....
As said before, I make predictions only here and purely for your pleasure and give you some stuff to discuss about. Enjoy as you wish, it's like my gift for your dedication about SC.Nah bud, that's your refreshed list. You've already got most of those wrong several years running.
But you're right. They will get funnier![]()
FoxyLoxy said:This is so cool. I know in Star Citizen they have been talking about NPC crewed guns, like AI blades. I think this is the AI blade in Elite Dangerous. It's already achieved.
You vídeos made me try ED. I'm learning and already hooked. SC is not a match for this yet. ED is way better. We get fun, instead of bugs.

FoxyLoxy said:I have to say I love Elite Dangerous Odyssey conflict zone combat very much, because those NPC are actually shooting at you...lol, yeah, that was my fps standards before.

Cool for you, maybe, I personally don't find that very interesting or fleshed out content. You should try salvaging, it's pretty cool.
