Yeah I knew the American Bison is bigger, I just wondered if there were any other differences. It’s a fine addition, nothing wrong with it for me but there’s nothing exciting about it either.View attachment 366345
American bison look like bodybuilders.
They're different enough for me to think it's more than worth it
Good to know thanksEuropean bison has a less pronounced ridge and a smaller head. Not different enough for me to warrant it being added to the game. But to each their own.

I would be down to clown, but if we got a swan I would prefer the European mute swan over the American trumpeter swanThoughts on getting a swan?
The Australian black swan over both.I would be down to clown, but if we got a swan I would prefer the European mute swan over the American trumpeter swan
Probably uproar because they're both "vanilla" woodland species with "comparable" species in the game, so getting both at once would almost certainly not go over well.Honestly, what if the next pack had both? Would there be an uproar? Or would there be cheering?
I'll add another level and prefer the whooper Swan over every other oneThe Australian black swan over both.
I wish American zoos had more European species. It feels like in Europe we have pretty good North American collections in comparison.Mute is my number one since it's the only wild European animal I've seen in captivity here besides the fallow deer.
The black swan is number two because I've seen it in a few zoos and Australia could also use more stuff.
While I like the trumpeter swan, I'd rather get the wood duck for NA waterfowl. It's the only one I see regularly in zoos here.
We have European herps--a good number of collections with fire salamanders, sheltopusik, and certain European tortoises. Fallow deer are common in non-accredited zoos but very rare in accredited zoos for some reason. Otherwise, most European animals just have more accessible American equivalents (American badger, North American river otter, etc.), or are present in America themselves (e.g. the red fox)I wish American zoos had more European species. I honestly wouldn't mind if we get the European bison, even if I've never seen one in zoos before, but it looks cool and it's nice to vary sometimesAmerican Black Bear fansEuropean Bison fans
Trying to get people from outside regions to support their important animal![]()
Honestly, if they did this, I think it'll satisfy a huge chunk. Players will be happy they don't need to pay for it and players from North America will be happy they got itAmerican Black Bear as the free 3rd year anniversary animal? Relatively easy for Frontier to do and would be well received.
Definitely works for me. I do want the ABB, but not as badly as the Spectacled. perhaps possibly if we got one as the free anniversary animal, we'd get the other in a pack. Rather than wishing and hoping for both of them in DLC slots.American Black Bear as the free 3rd year anniversary animal? Relatively easy for Frontier to do and would be well received.
