Only if Citcon has a Bethesda boothNot to worry, they're all at Citcon![]()
Never been done before!
* "Been" and "before" not guaranteed.Never been done before!*
This is just a start. People are already posting how they spend tens of hours in the game without even touching much of the main quest - exploring and building ships instead. This is really shaping up to be a game you play for months, if not years, with mods and DLCs coming. Like Skyrim, only much more expansive.Squadron 404 hits 1 million concurrent players milestone, not bad at all when Star Citizen only managed 1 million unique players throughout the whole of 2022

They could be adding modular ships with a ship construction module. Of course it means they'll have to refactor every ship in game and because of the complexity never seen before in the components of each ships, it will take around a year for each ship or component. Subscriptions will make it go faster and also gives access to early test flight on ship of the year.Talking of which, what deranged concept ship will they aim for this time?
* A more 'modest' one like the last few offerings? (No feature creep, just a big ole ~$500 thing that punches above the previous one. With more Size 7 weaponry, and some minor rooms for theorycrafting...)
* A return to full blown Willy Wonka excess?
Given their grabby hands have been rummaging around the back of the sofa recently could almost see them going big.
A giant porcupine ship that fires out those enormous mining tick things?
A flying radar dish that can attune to sentient life if piloted properly?
Nah, that would cut their own flesh - what would they be selling then? Individual modules? Not as sexy as a fantasy jpg. They could be adding modular ships with a ship construction module. Hmmm did you play SF?Honestly I don't have that kind of experience not saying that game is bad but really it's nothing groundbreaking in SF and I am getting bored pretty fast....also some of the things are bellow average in my opinion for example A.I. it's just stupidly bad, loading screens are everywhere sure they are not that long but still it is very annoying, ship flight it's just easy and very arcadish + there are no flying on the planets if anything ships are there as some secondary transportation plot.....Again saying all of this game is OK if you like FPS /Adventure/RPG mix and there are many fun things to do in it and I guess that modders will make sure to make it even more fun to play in the future but as it stands now I don't see it even as GOTY.....This is just a start. I don't see contradiction between your experience and what I wrote.Hmmm did you play SF?Honestly I don't have that kind of experience not saying that game is bad but really it's nothing groundbreaking in SF and I am getting bored pretty fast....also some of the things are bellow average in my opinion for example A.I. it's just stupidly bad, loading screens are everywhere sure they are not that long but still it is very annoying, ship flight it's just easy and very arcadish + there are no flying on the planets if anything ships are there as some secondary transportation plot.....Again saying all of this game is OK if you like FPS /Adventure/RPG mix and there are many fun things to do in it and I guess that modders will make sure to make it even more fun to play in the future but as it stands now I don't see it even as GOTY.....
No maybe there are no contradiction 'tho I did have the impression that you glorifying SF a bit 2 much for my taste as I did not have that kind of experience and that's why I asked you did you personally played SF.....I don't see contradiction between your experience and what I wrote.
Giant mechs.
That's what they should do for Citcon. Giant mechs.
They could sell modular arms. They could pose in it against sunsets. It's a no-brainer.
And then Sean could use them for that asymmetric experimental mode he wanted to do.
(But you can only play if you own the actual $750 dollar mech. Cue loads of Concierge guys inviting mopping platoons to come dual with them)
I’ve got one ready! How about a robot companion that follows you around? They could call it Chrisco!
