Fall DLC 2023 Speculation

North America - Canadian Goose (Although I really don’t think we need any birds from NA)
Might be a regional divide but I have less than zero enthusiasm for this, other than the goose being a good base for modding other waterfowl. Canada geese aren't zoo animals, they just visit zoos because guests won't stop feeding them french fries.

Eagles and owls aside, my North American habitat bird picks would be a wood duck and/or a wild turkey.

Africa only has large canids.

Oh my goodness, I meant south of the Sahara... The afrotropical zone does NOT include the desert as far as I know but yes it is part of the geographic continent. Oops.
i understand what you are saying, but i feel like canids and carnivorans as a whole isn't african problem. Like, Africa is the only continent without a croc (Europe doesn't count because it doesn't have a croc).

North America - Torn between sage groose and california quail. The wild turkey is the most iconic but not something that is high in my wishlist of birds lol I guess the canadian goose could be another option. TBH from NA i only care about the flying birds like the bald eagle, californian condor and owls.

Scratch all that about NA. I remember roadrunners and burrowing owls exist and i want both of them lol. But if i have to pick one i would say roadrunners.
