Fall DLC 2023 Speculation

It already happened Last year with Conservation Pack and then we got brachiation as surprise within the Update. I could imagine this could (could Not must) be the case with this Update, too.
Yeah but if I remember correctly they didn't talk about any of the update features in the pottery stream. They specifically brought up two features and mentioned the update in this stream

Looks like Frontier is finally letting go of those weird conspiracy theories
When we get a pack with birds (1).jpg

Anyone else find it weird we haven't gotten our 1.15 announcement post on the forums yet?
I think that update 1.15 is going to be "only" the viewing bubbles and brachiation for orangutans + little fixes. Maybe Frontier didn't want to post the update announcement alone because people would complain that it's a small update, so they preferred to show it to us instead. We shouldn't forget that this is our 15 major free udpate and we should expect huge updates.

This was my only conclusion too. I feel like this pack will suffer the same problem Arid did. If the theme is a generic “islands” theme it shouldn’t be zoned in on one place. If the Walrus isn’t in this pack, all the teasers we have are for Oceania animals. My animal pack roster would be:

Tasmanian Devil (Confirmed)
Kiwi (Confirmed)
Penguin Species (basically confirmed)
Pelican Species (I know 3 birds I’ve gone mad)
Walrus
Japanese Raccoon Dog or Japanese Serow
Coquerels Sifaka
Budgies (WTE)
Great lineup but will it be an animal pack is the question.

So much real essential (or better most iconic) species are not missing from Oceania anymore. I would say Tree Kangaroo (If we now should get the Quokka) and Echidna. For Sure another Addition could Happen but IT would be an "oddball" species. And after I have written that I realised that you likely meant we will hear soon from South American. This I Hope so, too.
Tree kangaroo and echidna are top of the list, but a black swan would also be an ideal waterfowl to add if they were to add waterfowl since there are none in the game yet. Perentie would also be an easy "clone" monitor to add to the game which ditches the trend of semiaquatic monitor lizards and lets us build for a different biome.

Honestly: I find Quokkas rather creepy with their cartoony "I killed my whole family and chopped them into pieces with a rusty chainsaw" smiling face >_> I'll probably never use them in my zoos. And if I do, then it will be in a high security prison in a basement behind an electric fence...

Lol

I feel the same about the Sulawesi Crested Macaque myself. Si i hope is either a quokka or a tree kangaroo

Now we get the happiest animal in the world, but maybe next time we get the grumpiest one?

To me, it’s an enlarged hamster with a deadly smile. “Cute” is one the last words I would use to describe it💀
