Fall DLC 2023 Speculation

FWIW, depending on what they do with the theme I can see a scenario where we get some darker wood pieces. If it's Polynesian we might be out of luck but I'm not losing hope for that just yet because whenever I look it up in Google... I struggle to see how they could build a full set around that theme without getting redundant.

I do think the theming could work for most of the animals that have been speculated. I just don't see how they could justify a new wall set, new roofs, and such around that theme (flexicolor thatch is obviously one way, but it would be beyond annoying to get it now instead of in the other 2-3 packs where it could have been viable previously).

So we didn't get the Update 1.15 announcement this morning as you've probably figured out already. Two features were announced during the stream. Viewing domes and orangutan brachiation.

As far as the DLC hints, 5 mocktails were made by a bartender and Lydiah.

One has a garnish with chili peppers that looks like devil horns=Tasmanian Devil.

One had smiling in the name I think so=Quokka (I'm personally not sold on this one)

One had kiwi fruit as the garnish so=North Island Brown Kiwi

One was blue and had the word cerulean in the name=Little Blue Penguin

And last a mocktail had edible flowers on it. This one has most people stumped. Rainbow Lorikeet and Orchid? Mantis have been through around.

The stream in general just gave tropical island vibes so everyone's kind of thinking islands, some are thinking Oceanian too. I'm not on my computer, so I can't easily attach screenshot, but I would if I could! Hope this helps at least a little!

Viewing domes in-habitat and brachiation for orangutangs in the free update. Tasmanian devil and kiwi all but confirmed. A penguin of some sort looking quite likely as well (specifically, fairy penguins). Quokka or a tree kangaroo in the mix for another option (general consensus is quokka due to the word "smile" being the hint). WTE could be any number of bird species, flying fox, sugar gliders, or something else nobody's considered; other people think it's a more standard exhibit with a smaller bug, hah.

Thanks! I'm very excited for orangutan brachiation, makes it finally useable for me.

I think it's debatable. If it looks like what we have, then it doesn't add much, but if it's a rockhopper or a little blue like many suggested, then it'll be kinda cool.

But it's also possible it's not a penguin. At this point, I'm only considering the kiwi and Tasmanian devil 100%, with the penguin at like 75%

I'm all about a third penguin but I can fully get some people not being so thrilled about them. There's something to be said about penguins being perennial crowd pleasers, though... I feel like if they have to go with a "similar" species to what we have already in-game, that's a pick that would please a lot of people regardless. It's a pretty "safe" pick on the whole.

(Again, acknowledging that for some people it would be repetitive. That's how I felt about the donkey and the gazelle in the last pack! LOL)

EDIT: And for real, as far as the last drink goes... It feels like it could be literally anything that eats nectar and/or fruits. Haha.
