Fall DLC 2023 Speculation

I don’t really get the concept of niches to be honest. Surely if it was just about that we’d have no new content because ostrich is a big bird, reindeer is a deer, kangaroo is a marsupial etc.

One of the great things about the game now is the growing variety we can choose from so we all have zoos with a different flavour.
Its not that we got one if everything but atleast when i talk about it i mean niche in types of habitat.
For example the dromedary can fill multiple niches as 1. A large desert ungulate, 2. Domestic in a petting zoo, 3. Themed African Villages, 4. Australian Invasive, 5. General Filler Ungulate and 6. Implied Dromedary rides.
These would be the scenarios where the dromedary would be usefull, as these are the niches it can have, making it very versatile compared to for example the scymitar horned onyx which serves as 1. Large to midsize desert ungulate, 2. General african ungulate and 3. Filler Ungulate.
This does not mean that the SHO is bad, just that the dromedary is more flexible in use, which makes it for me more desireable

I've already wishlisted the pack, Tasmanian Devil and Kiwi finally making it in is super exciting, and I'm really happy with the quokka too (ever since Wilhelma got them I had them on my wishlist). Little Penguin and the Flying Fox, I didn't particularly want but I'm fine with them being here.

RIP exhibit birds period I think. It was getting less and less likely in my mind, but I think this seals it, unfortunately. However, I think the bat is awesome and I love the lineup . Would rather the Tree Kangaroo than Quokka but that's just a slight personal preference. Really excited for this pack and I'm so happy it's coming next week!
Still have trouble believing that they introduced the entire function just for bats, butterflies, and a sloth.

I was hoping for lorikeet but I am so excited for the Spectacled Flying Fox! I think it is going to be my personal favorite of the pack.
Followed by Tassie (looks perfect!), then quokka.
