I donāt blame them. I donāt think that the Oceania Pack counts as a āsequel packā to the Australia Pack. I think that in order to count, it has to have a counterpart in the form of the alternative pack. For every scenery pack, thereād be an animal pack. I think after this pack Oceania is officially complete. We donāt need an echidna or tree kangaroo, we want them, we donāt need them.
Disagree, echidna could easily come in a children's zoo pack as a substitute hedgehog.
Tree Kangaroo possibly in an arboreal animal pack or possibly even upcoming highlands. Can't rule it out.
I NEED the tree kangaroo and Im sure players also need the echidna so yes we need them. so oceania still isn't complete

Aye-Aye, Celebes Crested Macaque, Coquerel's Sifaka, Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo, Short-Beaked Echidna, Lowland Anoa, Visayan Warty Pig, Bernier's Teal, Radiated Tortoise, Sumatran Orangutan, Victoria Crowned Pigeon. There's a sh*t ton of popular and common species.
I'd personally go for a scenery packs with Caribbean scenery and the Aye-Aye, Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo, Celebes Crested Macaque and Bernier's Teal/Lowland Anoa/Visayan Warty Pig.
That's also what I think. Also the fact we're back to regional packs. And I mean, there are still so many things they could do... It's just a gut feeling but to me, all of this doesn't look like a game that is ending soon...
Let's hope for an India pack so you can get your lion-tailed macaque and I can get my nilgai

K fine itās your opinion but itās definitely not in the bottom 2 continents for completion. For Oceania weāre missing 2 (subjectively needed), Africa still has a bit needed (Barbary Sheep, A bird, and Serval are needed for me), Europe needs the Wild Boar, NA needs the black bear (apparently), and South America needs a lot.
I agree, so many of these wishlist animals are wants but not needs. Needs are like south american monkeys not some niche animal from oceania.
It's late for me to share my opinion on Oceania Pack because I really don't want to say this (this feel like I will be attacked after this lmao), but I'm pretty disappointed with this animals roster. Tasmanian Devil and Kiwi are great, the other three are eh... animals I will barely/never use. Hopefully they will include Tree Kangaroo and Echidna in future packs.
Agree with you here. I mean, what's considered a "need" and what's considered a "want" is going to vary from person to person...but let's go back to the game's launch....or well, to the Australia pack's launch, since at game launch the needs was just "more than just one Australian animal please"
When the Australia pack came out, what animals were people really clamoring over? The Kiwi, The Devil, Wombats, Emu, Wallaby, Platypus....and now they're all in. Tree Kangaroo really didn't pick up speed until two years ago. There's undoubtedly some people who viewed it as a "need" and that's fine. But if you didn't "need" it all along but "need" it now, surprise, that's a "want" not a "need".
Lol there's easily enough animals to make a third DLC from "Down Under" down the road:
1. Tree Kangaroo
2. Echidna
3. Black Swan
4. Perentie
5. Frilled Lizard (E)
But I'd have to agree with Charlie here. I think Australia/Oceania is really well set after this DLC, of course you can always add more, but this is such a jump from base game, I'm satisfied

Oh sure, we could always create new packs for any place. I myself still have 2 species in my top 10 wanted mammals, and while I'd be glad if they were added I definitely do not need them. I'm so glad that Oceania's come this far from base game as well. Even after last's year's summer pack, I was hopeful we might see get 10 habitat animals total from the region by adding in Wombat, Emu, Tassie at that point. Is it done? It could never be "done" because there's no way Frontier could add in every species in a region, but for me personally what we've got is enough.
ofc! you can want whatever animals you want like I don't need at all the Barbary Sheep, Serval the only animals I need from africa are the secretary bird and the african spurred tortoise. so i don't need thse animals you mentioned at all but if you need them it's means that they are need for you.
so that's you don't think we need the tree kangaroo and echidna of course you don't have to need them but if it's need for me and for many more so it means it's a need. and I also don't need the black bear and the wild boar but even we will get them I will be happy for the people's that wanted them. so for me tree kangaroo is currently my most wanted animal for planet zoo and not just wanted. it's a needed animal for me.

fair enough, there are bunches of animals i need but are unrealistic, i need to canadian lynx to feel complete but i doubt we'll ever get it
