If Frontier were to add the Grey Fox there are multiple "looks" for the team to choose from:
from California
comfortable at a zoo in Connecticut
I'd hope for them to choose the more desert looking form since it could resemble other desert foxes. However, the northern form is much prettier.
As another example is the Coyote who varies from the fluffy to the borderline mangy. I'd hope for a fluffy coyote.
For animals in-game already the Dhole is obviously based on more Southern subspecies (even though its named after a Northern subspecies!).
I guess what I'm asking is how would you like models to look for animal species adapted to multiple habitats? Does it vary depending on the species? Or do you prefer for example fluffier animals in general?
