One place no marketing company can access is the Kickstarter comments which require you be an actual backer from 2012, I suspect CIG never thought it might be worth buying a good number of self pledges so they could actively defend the project on there over a decade later.
Even the shroud of avatar kickstarter comments tab dried up around a year ago. Star Citizen has people in the past week asking where their rewards are and why the project has not delivered, you know, a game.

My 'pledge' has not been turned into anything resembling a game in years... I tried using a lift yesterday, several times, the Early Access Tech Demo crashed to desktop each time.
Maybe there will be an actual game before my remains are burned and scattered, but I doubt it.
