My exploration ship is named Analemma, after the astronomical analemma diagram. And for some reason, as you can see, it's an asterisk sandwich. Is it because Frontier's attempt to prevent naughty words is so lazy that a happenstance of "anal" within the name of my ship has it censored? I mean, seriously?

My diamondback is called Grasshopper and got similar censorship until support intervened.
My cutter was named the Monarch until I found out that one was censored too - because mona is a swear in italian, apparently.

Holy crap. I get lazy filters but multilingual lazy filtering that's universal? How dumb.

In England ass is fine, it's an animal or a foolish person, you need an R an E and one less S to make it into the word that would be banned.
Wow, they used to censor that on this forum. It's why I resorted to using half-donkey a while ago. Ass. Ass. Ass.
This makes me realize my ship named Cassiopeia is probably censored because, despite being something you could look at on the galaxy map, from what the filter sees it has the word "ass" sandwiched between other "random letters" ...
